We did have one small rain but no wind or hail...which is a good thing because with hubby’s car full of glass, he had to use mine tonight and if it had gotten hailed on, we’d be out of luck! It was just a short one, though.
Sorry you had car trouble on top of having to get up early. That is a two-fer that couldn’t have been welcomed! Maybe you can make up for it tomorrow by sleeping till afternoon! Oh, wait! ;)
Didi has laid 2 eggs already! She never gets a break! LOL!
YAY! Rain with no hail or wind! Hope the rain will help your lawn spring back a bit more. You sure don’t need more hail after the mess it made at your place yesterday! That was bad!
No hail here but some wind along with the storms that rolled through this afternoon. It cooled things off real nice and that was good when I had to walk for a while. It was oppressively hot before the rain and I wouldn’t have wanted to walk in it.
Think I WILL sleep until afternoon tomorrow. LOL! Then again, as tired as I am right now, I might go to bed early and get up before noon. Only da Shadow knows. :-)
Say WHAT????? Dang, she needs to get shed of Jasper and find an older mate. One that will give her a break once in a while. LOL! Maybe these won’t be viable and I hope that’s the case.

And they are worse than the most spoiled child...throwing tantrums, stamping their feet, and expecting to get their way. It is disgusting, and does make one sick!!!

We have a little desert willow tree in front. It now only has one branch, poor thing! I hope it survives this beating it took! The rest of the plants seem ok. Didn’t even knock the petals off the rose bloom. LOL!
Yeah, she keeps having hoards of ‘em. LOL! She needs to stop with two or three for a change.
There’s still the chance these won’t be viable, like those she laid after the winter brood fledged.

The walk happened after the heat and humidity had been knocked back by the storms. Well, the heat had been but the humidity remains. It’ll all be back together tomorrow though. High in the low 90s and the humidity will be thick as pea soup again. Ugh! Glad I don’t have to go out of the house.
Your poor little tree! It’s not had a good time of it with the huge hail you’ve had. :-(

Popping in and out...Mom stuff. Sis leaves on the Saturday night red eye...deterioration before her very eyes. The few steps Mom can manage are becoming fewer and comprehension varies from medium to none.

I kind of hope for her sake that they aren’t. I don’t think that’s being cruel.
They say that Lady could have a second egg in just a few hours. Yay! She stayed off the first one some for delayed incubation, so maybe there won’t be a bully this year!
No, it isn’t cruel to think that way at all. She really needs the break.
I finally got a glimpse of Lady’s first egg this afternoon. They zoomed in while she was off the nest. I’ve been glad to see her off of it quite a bit so the two eaglets will hatch close together. Last year was tough.
But there’ll probably still be a bully. Goes with the territory. :-)
I know, but I just hope the bullying isn’t as intense as it was last year.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Lady, hoping to see a second egg appear. The curras are bugging her and she seems more intent on them than egg-laying.
I should be here relatively early tomorrow evening. It’s likely to be too wet to sit in the beer garden at our hang-out so I’ll probably just stay home. Besides, I’d like to be here when Hubby calls to let me know they made it to Detroit in one piece.
