Trump’s online supporters by contrast were/are completely organic. No centralized messaging, going off topic frequently with little to no order in how they operated.
Mercer was originally a huge backer of Ted Cruz. He in fact gave control of the PAC to a Glenn Beck affiliate. That’s why you saw Glenn Beck with Cruz at the rallies.
