In a rare move, the Supreme Court expedites consideration for a major case coming from the Trump administration.
On Friday, the justices ordered the ACLU to file responses to the Department of Justice regarding President Trump’s executive order on travel from six terror-prone countries.
This comes after the DOJ asked for a stay on an appellate court’s decision to block part of the order until justices can decide the matter.
However, the Supreme Court’s decision could push everything up by months and justices could hold arguments on the case before summer recess.
If they can expedite it, then they can also provide a stay.
Expedite Ginsburg to recuse
She expressed in public her dislike of Trump because of his demeanor, personality...something like that.
Since the lower courts all attack Trump’s personality, and THAT is part of the basis of their denial of Trump’s travel order, she is not now a neutral observer, but one who has already formed an opinion.

Exactly. With only 8 votes it could deadlock again and the lower court ruling will stand. This way it’ll at least be a SCOTUS ruling.
Expedited means they will find the “travel ban” unconstitutional. The 5th vote will be Roberts who stabbed every citizen in the USA with Obamacare. Ginsberg has already made up her mind as has the rest of the judges. The decision has already been written with the Majority written.

I think Barry represented as a tax to the SCOTUS, but not to anyone else, and the corrupt press didn’t dare call it what it was.
If they rule on a pure Constitutional basis, Trump wins.
If Roberts pulls his "we have to make the court relevant and more friendly" bullshit again ...... let the revolution begin!
Scotus probably doesn’t want to run foreign policy. It will disturb their vacations.
I expect them to rule in favor of Trump.
Shielding unconstitutional actions behind the Tax fig leaf has been a tactic at least since the New Deal. It is dishonest and unethical but widely understood in the shyster business.
I would feel better having all nine justices making the rulling because of just principle. its the job of the justices to ignore there feelings of the law on the vote if she cant do that she should not be a justice at all......oh ya she shouldn’t be one.
