Ruh Roh! Sounds like a left handed metric crescent/monkey wrench has been tossed into the mix here. Leading the way and winning is AWESOME! It's about time they starte measuring up to OUR standards for a change. ISO 9000 this!

I think Germany has made the “back of the line” in trade negotiations with the US. lol

No Germany should write America a thank you note for years of protection and stipends beyond that. If we move our military out of Germany, a large part of their economy will fall apart.
Merkel's encouraged migration of Muslims is overpowering plus they are not known for their industry...however they get an A+ in bomb making.

The regrettable announcement by the USA VW/Audi was found to be cheating US environmental laws yet it is "regrettable" that we pulled out of the Paris agreement.

Germany and the EU are now crying because they’ll have to take care of themselves, and compete without advantages against the U.S.
I can almost hear them crying: “Oh, Obama, oh, Hillary, why did you have to go and leave us at the mercy of Trump?”.

I’ve always been under the impression that our standards are higher than theirs, so I don’t see how this makes much difference in the overall picture.

That reminds me I need an adjustable metric crescent wrench.

About two years ago, the Germans wrote up a law, and passed it. By 2030 (13 years away), you will be unable to buy a new gas-powered car. Totally limited from that point on to battery-vehicles. No other EU country has done this, and few Germans think that law will unfold as planned. Even with the current 4,000 Euro government check for battery-powered cars....few Germans are interested in the technology and it’s not helping to sell the vehicles.

Yeah, I had a helper bring me a fractional adjustable crescent wrench and had to send him back to the tool crib to exchange it for a metric one. He brought a right handed one. Then I had to send him to get a hammerdo. Then as a backup, a henway. Not to mention requesting a steam blanket or the key to the sea chest. ;-)

Mine is in the toolbox under the shelf with the blinker fluid and the spare muffler bearings.

Mine is in the toolbox under the shelf with the blinker fluid and the spare muffler bearings. That's all great, but what I would like to know is whether you use manufacturer specification blue smoke to refill leaky electrical components, or do you use the generic knock-off blue smoke?

Once the US pulled out of Paris, the accord became a dead letter.
The international left just doesn’t know it yet.
Within a year or two all the world will scoff at it.
