President Trump is nearing a final decision on whether to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, with one White House official saying Wednesday that the president is leaning toward an exit but three others cautioning that he has not reached a verdict.

The matter has deeply divided the administration for months. Ivanka Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have urged the president to remain in the deal, and White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt have been pushing for a withdrawal.

Since that half baked Paris climate thing was just something which Obama agreed to, and did not submit to the Senate to be ratified as an official treaty, it seems that Trump can just verbally cancel our participation.

What's there to think about?

There is absolutely ZERO benefit to remain attached to this deal. NOTHING! Anyone trying to convince the President otherwise NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

The Paris Accord is nothing more than the massive transfer of hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth from the developed world (primarily, the United States) to the poor. The fake fear of "climate change" was the tool used to sell it to a gullible public.

End this crap NOW!!!

I’ll begin to lose faith if he doesn’t withdraw from this accord. The issue is sovereignty.

So it’s great that Trump is close to deciding whether or not to keep a major campaign promise? Maybe this is just more playing infinite chess levels compared to just plain old chess.

I want to hear it from President Trump. I do not trust leaks. I sent a message to the White House this morning asking him to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord. Here is the link if anyone else wants to send the same message.

>>Modern day snake oil sold with fear.

Seems to have been pretty effective at manufacturing increased anti-science mentality among Algore's opposition.

Next up - Conservatives stop eating meat because Algore hangs a potroast around his neck!

“I’ll begin to lose faith if he doesn’t withdraw from this accord”

And I’ll lose faith if our jackmonkey governor here in Washington State and his University of K-Mart attorney-general don’t find some mental midget federal judge to rule the President doesn’t have that authority.

A non-treaty treaty is Constitutional.

Our Constitution in article VI says that

" . . . all treaties made, or shall be made, under authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, any thing in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary not-withstanding."

The trickery of the "Treaty on Treaties" is revealed. It bypasses the authority of the Senate and the 2/3 vote requirement.
