Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” while discussing reports that President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, White House senior advisor Jared Kushner attempted to set up a back channel with Russia, former Democrat state senator from Ohio Nina Turner said, “No one in Ohio is asking about Russia.”
Turner said, “No one in Ohio is asking about Russia. I mean, we have to deal with to deal with this. It’s all on the minds of the American people. But people in Ohio. they want to know about jobs, their children. I was just in California where California folks, especially the national nurses, pushing for healthy California, single payer, Medicare for all kinds of things. I talked to a Boomer, a Baby Boomer who is an African-American Baby Boomer who lives here in D.C., Russia is not in his top five. He believes that both parties are failing.”

Well this shows that Trump is a traitor and needs to be impeached. He has convinced the voters of Ohio they need not be concerned about Russia. But Russia is our biggest enemy, and we the SlimesCompostCorrupNewsNetwork say so.

Someone needs to sell Ms Turner a clue-first of all, California is trying to get universal mediCAID, not mediCARE-the latter is only for those over 65, and we pay into it not only from payroll deductions starting with our 1st jobs, but also from deductions from SS each month after the age of 65. Recipients of MediCAID seldom pay for anything at any age-their costs are paid by those of us who work-aka “taxpayers”...
Of course Boomers and a lot of others feel both dems and establishment pubs have failed-if Ms Turner had been listening, she’d know why we are happy now-it’s because we can say “President Trump”...

I’m retired. My greatest concern is the future freedom of this country for my kids and grandkids.
Seriously. We must stay a separate nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Ohio is just about the most bellwether of bellwether States. Urban in the north, rural in the south, but with probably one of the best educated electorates (can’t throw a stone without hitting a small college or THE largest university in the country, where a few months ago a wannabe terrorist was taken down by a campus security officer and where I fulfilled my PE requirement in a shooting course). So yeah, we could not give two s***s about your obvious lies about the election. But keep digging that hole.

Gee I travel to Russia and Ohio. The Ohioans I know told me to tell Putin “Thank you, if what we hear is true.” Why? Because if the Russian scam is actually true then they simply exposed the DNC and Hillary for what they did and are. As my lawyer would say “The truth is an affirmative defense”.
But in the Russian and Ohioan vein again, no one in Ohio understands why the Russians would want a “Drill here Drill now” and King Coal and “build the damn pipeline” President elected. Trump is simply killing the Russian oil economy.

Unfortunately, where I am (work in DC, live in Maryland) it’s all they talk about. But they’re very blue, so it’s a moot point.

What's my point? One can't help but wonder what would've happened if the dems had run her for gov or US Senate. She doesn't toe the line, and seems bright and well-informed.
