What happens? They continue digging until they find something. Dig hard enough, and for long enough, and you’ll eventually find something on anyone. Not to mention that there are several bad actors that may be willing to leak information from within, or create falsehoods. Trump is a strong man, but I think the presidency will affect his health. Which is why he should steam full speed ahead anyway.
For the press and most of its audience, history starts anew each morning.
The media will never give up the template of “Trump’s collusion with Russia”...... this will continue to shadow him throughout his presidency. Comey’s purpose along with some of his underlings was to destroy Donald Trump.
Mueller's charter is to investigate Trump campaign / Russian government connection, nothing else. There is nothing but personal downside for him if he investigates Camp Clinton. He'd be a fool to go there, and he is no fool.
Lots of dots to connect.
Where is “collusion” stated as a crime?
Shouldn’t that be “ When” not “ If” ?
Simple.
They make something else up.
Muh Russia happened only because pussy grabbing didn't work.
I predict Kushner the crook is next, but who knows.
They will not rest until Trump is removed or they are destroyed.
but funny and true.
fill the tanks, gather more ammo and head out looking for another drive-by .. .
I have long advocated civil, rather than criminal, legal action - for the simple reason that Republican politicians simply have never had, likely never will have, the guts to actually go to the mat againstthe mediawire service journalism.Triple damages are available under RICO, but the Sherman Anti-Trust Act (a one-page law) does the same. The target, BTW, cannot be an amorphous the media, but the wire service in general and the Associated Press in particular will do just fine. Sue the AP and its membership, joint and several liability for all the media feeding frenzy justices such as the Duke Lacrosse rape story, the advertisement by the media for assassination of Presidents Bush and Trump, and for the assassination of George Zimmerman, the illegitimate call of FL for Gore in 2000 . . . (the list is virtually endless).
The First Amendment enshrines precious liberties, and must be enforced. But the First Amendment is about free and independent presses. Not a single, associated press projecting its message via member newspapers which are more like fronts.
“The media is already suffering from a credibility crisis. Trust in the media is at an all-time low. And according to Gallup, 55 percent of people believe the media is often inaccurate. A Harvard-Harris poll had a similar finding, showing that 65 percent of voters believe there is a lot of fake news in the mainstream media....”
What needs to happen is bring back Tom Harkin’s “fairness doctrine” which would punish media outlets for reporting fake news. They can report fake news, but it has to be splashed across the screen or at the top of the editorial page that the message is strictly for entertainment purposes and is not the facts.
Actions are louder than words ....... presstitutes are forever suspect. Doom on em.
Bttt!
Bttt!
On to the next fake scandal.
Maybe one of these will stick.
If not, the implication is enough for some people to doubt.
They’ll keep going, even if it dissolves their creditability.
Everything is at stake with them. Trump must be destroyed at ALL costs.
Assuming you mean injustices.
injustices, indeed.
See, thats the thing: you cannot expect anything else from a (singular) journalism with multiple front groups.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of NationsPeople of the trade of journalism meet (virtually) on a continual basis via the AP wire. Theyve been at it since the middle of the Eighteenth Century - so the conspiracy against the public which we are continually subjected by jouralism is the only possible result. The AP has been found by SCOTUS in 1945 to be in violation of Sherman. But back then, there was no thought of breaking up the AP because its mission - the economical dissemination of news over scarce, expensive bandwidth - made it too big to fail. Well, guess what! The Internet is what it is because the cost of transmission bandwidth has declined by so many orders of magnitude since 1945 that economizing on bandwidth is a de minimum consideration. The AP is a monopoly whose legitimate raison dêtre no longer exists.
