Germany spent 20 billion euros on refugees in 2016

The German government in 2016 provided €9.3 billion ($10.4 billion) to its sixteen states for assisting migrants and €11 billion on measures designed to fight the causes of forced migration and displacement abroad.

The figures are from a federal government report expected to be approved and published by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet on Wednesday.

A total of €5.5 billion was spent for migrants who were seeking asylum and were not yet recognized by the state. The funds spent within Germany also went towards an integration package that cost €2 billion, while €400 million was spent on shelter for asylum seekers and €350 million on unaccompanied minors.

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia received the most funding (€1.2 billion), followed by Bavaria (€860 million) and Baden-Württemberg (€728 million). […]

So is that the money Merkel is referring to when she cites mysterious “security” costs that should count as part of Germany’s commitment to NATO???? She adopts a crazy refugee policy and then pretends that Germany’s added expenses should offset what NATO members are supposed to be budgeting for their military forces....

One major cause is Germany giving them such easy access to free money and lodging. What do you think they're going to do?

Merkel gets to spend a kabillion dollars on killing her country with massive un-vetted migration. Then she expects the US taxpayer to come to her aid when all this goes kaput?
