Russia's Lavrov says he did not discuss Comey with Trump - Interfax
Reuters ^

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday he had not discussed the firing of the former FBI Director James Comey with U.S. President Donald Trump, Interfax news agency reported.

"We did not touch this issue at all," Interfax quoted Lavrov as saying.

The New York Times has reported that Trump told Lavrov and Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak at a White House meeting last week that firing Comey relieved "great pressure" the president faced from a law-enforcement probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer did not deny the account of the meeting in a statement, but highlighted that the only crime, again, is the leaking of sensitive information...

I don’t know if that means Spicer is confirming it indirectly, and I dont care if Trump said it or not. He was right. He couldn’t deal with Russia correctly with that kind of insane pressure.

But this LEAKING, true or false, has to stop and the traitor should get a long prison term. He should get shot but this country is so out of its ####ing mind at this point that the delicate flowers would all be rushed to psych wards if that happened.

Get’s more bizarre by the day and all so Hillary can continue to believe that she was robbed by Vlad.

Trump needs to go after her big time.

Hanging is the preferred punishment for traitors (now that being drawn and quartered is not allowed). But also having a bunch of leftist snowflakes sent to looney bins should be considered as 'icing on the cake.'

lol!!

That’s INCREDIBLY UNFAIR to the poor souls with different mental illnesses.

True story. I was in a psych ward after my head injury due to depression for a few weeks at Columbia in Manhattan.

There were in no particular order: Latin Kings and Black gang members sent from Rikers, severe Bi Polars, Schizophrenics and self mutilators.

We all got along great and played games and ate the pizza that the Latin Kings’ gals brought every night.

The ONLY one we ALL didn’t get along with was the Left Wing Bi Polar from the Upper West Side!!!!

As God is my witness :)

Per article at link below..."Always remember the basic rule that has been proven accurate 100% of the time: ♦ When the CIA wants to leak a damaging story they coordinate with the Washington Post and ABC. (and vice-versa). ♦ When the State Dept. or FBI/DOJ wants to leak a damaging story they coordinate with CNN and the New York Times. (and vice-versa) This consistent pattern has NEVER been broken.".............. NEEDS TO BE KEEP IN MIND AS ONE READS THE HIT JOBS I mean reporting on POTUS https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/05/19/nyt-and-wapo-coordinate-dual-strikes-against-president-as-trump-departs-for-trip/

If Trump actually discussed the matter with the Russians, my only disappointment would be if he didn't tell the Russians that he wished he could take Comey to a Moscow hotel suite and pee all over him.

:-P

The communists rag the NYT made this conversation up. The NYT is attempting to overthrow conservative America and turn us into a communists country controlled by the elite.

The leakers are lying to the media... or the media is lying and there are NO leakers.

Most of these “leaks” appear to be total fabrications. It doesn’t even matter if everyone knows they are false, it keeps the loud murmur and the finger pointing going on full power. Many off the scandals breathlessly shopped by the MSM/Left are invented and some are true but consist of loud cries of SCANDAL about some official was seen with a coffee stain on his shirt or the charge is that he was wearing a belt or was secretly recorded as having corn flakes for breakfast. The nature of a charge or its relation to reality is immaterial. The goal is to keep the charges coming so that the sense of the people is of an administration “mired in scandal.”

I suspect this was a specific ploy to identify a leaker. Say something “crude” so that a particular suspect is the only one who hears it and then see if it hits the MSM.

Hillary knows she lost because her campaign, her message, her efforts, her likeability, all sucked and no one really wanted her. She got a Dem default vote, and even that abandoned her in many states.

Russia was a creation by the DNC, and Podesta, to impose the illusion that Hillary really won and Trump is an illegal presence in the White House. It is despicable and unAmerican but since when has that stopped a Democrat.

These are the same people who spit on soldiers returning from Vietnam.

There are the same people who carve up the body parts of murdered children and sell them for campaign money.

These are the same people who lecture on race, but in their cities, like Chicago, 10 black children get shot on the weekend, and the Mayor goes fishing. They don’t give a damn about black lives, only black votes.

These are the same people that did not care that Hillary had 4 computer servers containing top secret information, unprotected to a hostile world for years....yet cannot stop screaming that Trump revealed spy secrets to a Russian diplomat in a one hour conversation.

These people are hypocrites.

I suspect it was not made up but rather planted by DJT to identify a leaker.

identify the leaker and discredit the press with another false story at the same time perhaps?

The way I see it , in 1963 the leftist paranoia murdered a sitting president. Trump may waiver at times but he will not break..witness the fact the attacks are becoming less and less credible as the Trump hard core support fails to crumble. The key element is ensuring those closest to him can be trusted.

I haven’t touched a New York Times since it fell off the coffee table at my (late) grandparent’s house fifty years ago.

Now I remember why!

Yeah, Spicer seemed to confirm the account. I’ll take Spicer’s word over Lavrov’s.

But one thing I’ve learned about leakers... because I once was in a situation where there was a brewing revolt in a company (that I was not part of, but which I knew a lot of the people in it).... don’t just assume that there’s “a” leaker. People kept leaking information about the upheaval in the company to me, and the CEO kept trying to hunt down the leaker. The thing is, there wasn’t “a” leaker - __almost everyone__ in the company was leaking.

I think it’s probably the same thing at the White House.
