Mueller Must Investigate Everything or It's Worthless
PJ Media ^ | May 19, 2017 | Roger Simon

Robert Mueller's investigation will be incomplete if he does not deal with and resolve the competing narratives about what has transpired. Narrative one is that Donald Trump and/or one or several of his entourage colluded in some manner with the Russians over election 2016. Narrative two is that Democrats and much of the media have not accepted the results of the election and are smearing Trump to drive him from office or seriously wound him to the degree that he will accomplish nothing.

Excellent article. Shows how totally entwined the "Russian. hacking", illegal surveillance, and leaking cases are and how all need to be invetigated simultaneously.

Deep state Robert Mueller.....we are just going to be disappointed once again. This is going to be nothing but a witch hunt against Trump.

It will be extremely interesting if Comey testifies again under oath before Congress. He claims that Trump asked him to drop the investigation of Flynn although he did not report such “coercion” to his Justice Department superiors. He will of course be asked to explain. Far more interesting and telling will be his responses to questions if and how Obama and Lynch intervened and influenced his “decision” not to recommend the indictment of Hillary Clinton. Either he tells the truth or perjures himself. He cannot be sure that tapes or documentation exists regarding Obama/Lynch involvement. That is why, IMHO, Comey will not voluntarily testify again before Congress and all attempts to subpoena him will be opposed by Democrats and the MSM as a infringement on the special prosecutor’s investigation. He knows too much about Obama and Lynch.

The DOJ is a joke and will remain so until they actually prosecute people who have clearly broken the law. But, due to their “positions” within certain ranks, are, untouchable. We know who they are and their skates are well greased. (Guess it’s not a joke if you’re a peon and not one of the “privileged” class)

If Mueller does not frog march Bolshies and bill the Bolshekrats for wasting $ millions, he will have failed.

Well unless he backs out, he has agreed to testify: http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/19/comey-agrees-to-testify-in-open-before-senate-intelligence-committee.html

It’s worth a few million dollars for Mueller to say there is no evidence, if that’s what it is, and close this investigation.

Do you seriously think that any congress critter is going to ask genuine probing questions of Comey? Congressional investigations are shams, frauds used for political purposes.

Congress is NOT a law enforcement body. It is a law making body (or used to be until it ceded most of its authority to the nameless, faceless, unelected bureaucracy). Congressional hearings are supposed to be for the purpose of oversight and to obtain information necessary to craft laws. They are not supposed to be for political witch hunts.

Will Mueller, like Comey, continue to protect Comrade Hellry?

Still have some faith that a few brave decent people on those committees, if allowed by the Chairman, will ask those questions. “Oversight” requires inquiry on just how government “officials” perform their duties. If they are not allowed to ask those questions hopefully they will go public with their frustrations and concerns. Eventually Comey, in public and under oath, will be asked just what influence Obama/Lynch had on his decision not to recommend an indictment of Hillary Clinton.

Muller needs to find the leakers. Comey is likely a major one.

This is the obvious place to start in an investigation. Here is the law - 18 U.S. Code § 1519 - Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy

Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

The charge to the special council has only one issue, Russian collusion. He will be blind to any other crime performed by the Dems. Read the instructions to the special council. It is a set up to get Trump.

All the Left cares about is keeping the Trump/Russia conspiracy theory alive through the 2018 election.

The 2018 campaign started November 9, 2016 and this is the only card the left has to play.

The media with their tinfoil hats firmly in place will keep up the drumbeat on the Trump/Russia conspiracy theory.

To disrupt the media and allow for more competition, we must hurt their bottom line.

No cable tv
No Hollywood
No name brand products
No chain restaurants
No clicks on liberal websites
No Google
No Facebook
No Amazon
Please add to the list

Economic boycotts work. The American Revolution, Ghandi in India, MLK and the civil rights movement.

To disrupt the system, we have to disrupt our lives.

If we do not disrupt the system, we are headed for socialism/communism at bullet train speed.

I don't want to shake your faith, but have to agree with ptsal's comment that by and large, the congress is a collection of worthless, detestable egomaniacs.

Ask yourself when has a congressional investigation ever produced anything worthwhile. Yeah, one impeached Clinton in the 1990's, but the effects of that didn't really stick to the Clintons. And yeah, the Dems forced Nixon to resign back in the day (one could argue if that was really worthwhile). Beyond those two incidents...nothing useful to the country ever came of these congressional witch hunts.

The whole stinking incestuous mess of Reps and Dems are in on it. One side "investigates" the other over and over again just to keep us peons riled up and divided so we can't unite to turn on them. Do you seriously think congressional Republicans want to close the border, enact genuine tax reform and tort reform, repeal Obamacare, etc? If they were ever serious about anything they yap about, it would have been done by now. Instead, they are all some degree of socialist. Most Dems are hard Left and most Reps are soft Left. All of them are in politics to enrich themselves, their families, buddies and big donors. Voters are just the saps they con into putting them in power.

How many times have we conservatives put our faith in politicians who talked our language, then folded like cheap tents the moment push came to shove? The latest is Jeff Sessions, hero to conservatives for a long time.

Sorry to be so cynical, but if not 100% true, what I said is pretty darned close to 100%.

The boycott would hurt Trump, were it able to be pulled off. If people actually stopped purchasing products and services as you describe, the economy would tank and of course, it would be all blamed on Trump. In 2018, the people will go to the polls and vote the Democrats back in.

The best thing we can do for Trump is support the economy and have it boom. That is what produced the Reagan re-election landslide. On the other hand, Jimmy Carter is an example of what happens to an incumbent president when the economy tanks.
