Robert Gates: I Am ‘in Agreement’ With Trump’s ‘Disruptive Approach’
Breitbart ^ | Pam Key

Posted on 05/15/2017 5:37:27 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

On this week’s broadcast of CBS’s “Face the Nation,” former secretary of defense Robert Gates said he was “in agreement” with President Donald Trump’s “disruptive approach.”

Partial transcript as follows:

DICKERSON: What’s your sense overall of President Trump as an unpredictable leader?

GATES: Broadly philosophically, I’m in agreement with his disruptive approach. So in government, I’m a strong believer in the need for reform of government agencies and departments. They have gotten fat and sloppy and they’re not user-friendly. They are inefficient. They cost too much. I also think on the foreign policy side that there is a need for disruption. We’ve had three administrations follow a pretty consistent policy toward North Korea, and it really hasn’t gotten us anywhere.

You can bet Gates won't be invited back on CBS and his quotes won't see the light if day. Way wrong answer for the Leftist narrative!

Odd but welcome !

In some ways, Gates seems like the ultimate foreign policy DC swamp creature, a Uniparty man who works for both sides...

but in this case he is honest enough to say that what was being done previously was not working.

Excellent and I also predict that there will be peace in the middle east before the end of his first term.

************

Its too bad that many Republicans in congress don’t agree with him and are doing everything possible to undermine Trump’s efforts to drain the swamp.

The Republicans are so stupid and corrupt they don’t see that if they keep this up nobody will ever vote for them again.

Building an entire government from the bottom up is arduous. Trump is doing just that. It will take a bit more than a few months to achieve. Already we are seeing a tsunami effect on the nation. In a year there will be substantial changes.

They are getting their graft while the sun shines on them, and shouting “devil takes the hindermost.”

I love Trump's disruptive approach. Don't view his actions as conservative or progressive, view them for what they are, change. He is work of art.
He really set the tome what the public and embarrassing firing of Comey. Trump knew exactly what he was doing, to whom he doing it to and sent a message to Washington,”stop the rumors and undermining of my policies. Washington works in back rooms, in the dark. Trump just changed that. He won't just fire a traitor he will publicly execute the,. Expect more executions.

>>“disruptive approach.”

AKA - handing out “offensive” pink slips instead coddling the L.I.F.E.Rs by handing out trophy’s for “trying”.

Perhaps so. Gates does stand out as working both sides of the street. On the other hand, he just may be doing his best to faithfully serve our country. A soldier in a pinstripe suit as it were. My nickels sez he’s a Good Troop.
