Lim did not meet Kim Il-sung. Somebody else did. He did engineer an operation to smuggle S. Korean student operative into N. Korea via Berlin, to attend World Youth Festival in Pyongyang in 1989. It is the operative who met Kim Il-sung twice.
I had read about the Kaesung Industrail Park and his investment there......it’s my understanding that the wages of the employees were shorted and actually funneled to N.Koreas coffers for their Nuclear Ambitions. So if he presses for this to re-open and N.Korea has control of wages it’s just going to continue to assist Kims Ambitions.
I’ve only recently began looking into the South Korean people and their politics. So I believe you are right saying it’s easier to just see N.Korea as it is....however I have been surprised by this election of Moon.....
