How is the in-home service for your mom working out so far? Does it give you some peace while you’re having to work?
Does the company help make sure you get your hours?
Scattered clouds right now...hopefully I can see the moon tonight.
We have 2 feeders outside the front window, but they seem to not like one of them.
Maybe when the kid is a little older...
Glad you are now the Alpha and that she understands that.
For just this one week we have 24 hour care...7a to 7p, and 7p to 7a.
Next week will just be the day shift. No help from any insurance....who will pay for 4 hours, but only for a registered nurse. I don’t need a registered nurse, just someone to be here to keep her from falling. The night lady, who I’m hoping to keep during the days, has been at it for years. The day lady is at her first gig. My Mom is telling her how to do things. *sigh* But she has someone to talk to all day and evening....and it’s not me. And last night she was awake more than asleep.
At least this week I don’t need to keep getting up. But care is VERY expensive and 24 hour is beyond our means. So I’m enjoying this week. I did order both a bed rail that folds down and a button for her room to push and it sounds in my room. That way I can sleep between alarms and not stay listening all night.
I’ll be back Saturday for the Songbook.

Well, I usually don’t take kids that young, but they insisted he was ready so I gave it a try.
I told them the door is always open for when he is a Little more mature.

I guess for her it’s nice to have someone to talk to besides dead people!
Any kind of care is cha-ching but I hope somehow you can manage the lady who has the experience. She’ll better know what to do when needed.
If she has the button, will she just punch it willy-nilly or really wait till it’s a real issue to take care of. In my MIL’s case, she wears a button but won’t use it, because she doesn’t want to “bother” the people...who are there to help. sigh
She still has her Medical Alert button and she knows what it is for, but starting Monday I will be back on night duty. I had a whistle for her so I could hear her, but it could be a half hour before she finally called LOUDLY.
And the caregiver can have the second button during the day so she doesn’t have to jump up an check every little bit. Mom can just push the button and have someone come.
We will find out starting Monday. LOL!
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
BTTT
Are you safe and sound?
It was just rain here and the snow was gone in no time. No hail here. Spring Cleaning!!
Yes they do and sometimes they want you to extend like if I’m close to my total for the day and want me to fly another leg I could extend but if that leg puts me over for the day I can’t fly it.
I pray it works out. I know you need your rest! And both of you need peace of mind.
