The last time one of these Muslim groups killed a KGB officer, the retaliation was swift and unmistakable. One of their own high level operatives body was delivered in pieces to the groups office. I think this was in Syria or Lebanon back in the 70s or 80s.
So if the story is true, expect a very swift retaliation again.

Poor form by ISIS. Apparently ignorant of how Russia manages responses to such incitements. There will be an insane amount of ISIS related blood spilled in response to this.
Unlike the U.S., Russia has no social restraint in unleashing a devastating response. ISIS is about to learn a brutal lesson.

They won’t comment like a bunch of fairy Western politicians. They will send in some Spetnaz forces and REALLY mess up ISIS - likely starting with the families of the leadership. That is their track record - look up what the Soviets did when some idiot terrorist group kidnapped a Soviet diplomat in Lebanon in the mid-1980s. Let’s just say that the guy in charge of that group didn’t need to worry about having any more brothers or cousins...at least not from his father or uncle, if you catch the drift.
