I have been aware/interesting in/rabid political/news junkie since I was a very small child.

Unlike you, I have known all about Trump for many decades and yes, understand the familial dynamics and much more, far better than you ever will; especially because I am from an old NYC family.

Trump, as many parents have, from time immemorial, has a blind spot when it comes to Ivanka ( his favorite and well favored child ) and therefore, by extension, her husband.

You and the others of your ilk, refuse to see reality and keep making up all kinds of different excuses for him...none of which hold any water at all, when looked at with a clear eyes.

Giving the Kushners as much "power" and exposure, as he has, to date, has been and continues to be STUPID!

I was late to be for Trump. I have been reluctant to criticize him with all the good that he has done, but Ivanka and her wife/husband is very upsetting.

Not making excuses, I see the world so differently than others, is a blessing and a curse. I called his ascendency and victory when others called me nucking futs. I also see this is the second time he has sent I or J to Europe (and Israel don’t forget) to be the tip of his spear on issue. This trip is a bit more complicated at least on the surface and maybe even deeper. Their are other issues why he might not go himself, but I won’t pontificate on that here.... In a decades old interview on youtube, DJT answered the question of whether he was a conservative with this response:

“I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal.”

That probably describes Ivanka.

As much as I want DJT to restore the Republic, I realize he is not an idealog but an efficient businessman who is working hard to improve the gov’t processes and its bottom line. Kind of like making the trains run on time.

IN MY OPINION, the Republic is too far gone to be restored. It would require very drastic action. 95% of the Fed Gov’t would have to be shut down. 50% of the population would have to be purged because they are domestic enemies of the Republic. DJT is NOT going to do any of that.

Can anyone think of a time in history where a crumbling Republic was actually restored? I can’t think of any example.

We have 4 or 8 years of “not Hillary”. Then it’s full speed ahead with one world gov’t, aka, hell.
