Interesting concept, but guidance is virtually impossible. OTOH, the USN and KM sent a lot of ships to the bottom using unguided torpedoes.

The Russians have had torpedoes capable of this since the 70s.

It uses supercavitation to create a bubble around itself and is propelled with a solid fuel rocket. It has minimal contact with liquid water and basically is flying underwater.

200 knots is possible using a cavitation bubble ahead of the torpedo. The limiting factor is how much gas you can keep on board to provide the bubble.

Sounds crazy, but supercavitating torpedoes are a real thing. They bleed gases into the water. Those gases displace the water and the torpedo travels through the gases.
