San Francisco Chronicle Admits: Some Anti-Trump Protesters are Paid

Despite the left’s attempt to deny it, some anti-Trump protesters are indeed paid to show up — including those from a growing number of tech companies who are paying their employees to participate in anti-Trump rallies. The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Saturday, in an article titled “Bay Area demonstrators may be paid to protest, by employers,” that the “common accusation lobbed at liberal protesters” that “they’re being paid to protest” is at least partially based in fact.

According to the Chronicle, “an increasing number of companies have unveiled policies that allow employees to take paid time off work for political or civic activities, such as protesting, canvassing, voting, volunteering or even running for office.” The progressive movement’s vocal opposition to President Donald Trump has translated into employers (at least, those who can afford it) providing paid leave as a way to increase political engagement after what many of them took as a devastating loss.

However, the Chronicle also notes that some companies who offer their employees paid leave for political action have experienced an intense backlash.

Interesting:

I wonder what liability these companies would incur for paying their employees to create public disturbances, commit acts of violence and vandalism, and to assault people?

They are ALL paid.

Some directly, from Soros, to a few intermediaries, into their bank accounts... or,

Some indirectly, thru EBT, EIC, etc. They may have other odd jobs, too... like voting.

“growing number of tech companies who are paying their employees to participate in anti-Trump rallies”

...and the stupid lemmings go and do it. I guess they don’t mind handing over their jobs to foreigners.

The San Francisco Chronicle wouldn’t be paying employees for protesting, would they?

Are these paid thugs citizens, immigrants, or illegal aliens?

If someone was paid by a liberal nonprofit while damaging property, you could sue those political groups for the damage their employees intentionally did.
And everyone attacked by liberal bullies can sue them seeking recompense for their medical bills.
The Berkley police chief should be sued, too, for withdrawing police protection after telling conservatives to be disarmed since cops would protect them - AND Berkeley sued for conspiracy, corruption and the medical bills anyone wants to claim for harm caused by violent rioters. Nor should the requirement for police reports be an issue, since we have video of police refusing to be involved and not accepting police reports for the violence they allowed to occur.

If a company pays someone to go to a protest, then that person is acting as an agent of that company. If that paid protester were to assault you at that rally, then under the doctrine of respondeat superior you could sue the company and get both compensatory and punitive damages which could be in the millions.

If you are assaulted at a rally, tear the mask off and try to get a photo. If you find out the thug was a paid employee of a company, hire a top notch personal injury attorney. Not one who has to advertise on TV. Insurance doesn’t cover punitive damages and they can’t be discharged in bankruptcy. Hit them where it hurts.
