The Pentagon this week suspended the security clearance of a White House National Security Council analyst that U.S. officials say was the target of political retribution by government bureaucrats opposed to President Trump's appointees.
Adam S. Lovinger, a 12-year strategic affairs analyst with the Pentagon's Office of Net Assessment (ONA), has been on loan to the NSC since January when he was picked for the position by then-National Security Adviser Michael T. Flynn.
Lovinger was notified in a letter from the Pentagon on Monday that his Top-Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) clearance had been suspended and that he had to return to the Pentagon.

Happens the week before the do the full court press against Trump for hiring Flynn. That’s not an accident.
Trump needs to lean on him, or even get rid of him and his cronies.
President Trump should appoint Adam S. Lovinger to the position just above who ever made the decision. Let Adam fire the varmint.
Last I checked Trump was President and he can let anyone at the Pentagon go.

Rumor has him getting a 4th star and #2 position in the army—which at least gets him out of where he is.
Playing politics with White House positions is an old game. I don’t approve, but it’s something we have to tolerate. Playing politics with security clearances is unacceptable. Everyone involved in pulling a security clearance for any reason other than valid security concerns should be fired and lose their clearance for life. Anyone who would politicize the protection of classified information does not have America’s interests at heart.
