What is missing in the calculations of the liberal/progressives is the place of CHARITY. I don’t know with certainty that every need can be met with charity but I do know that failure to recognize the DOMAIN of charity is a recipe for disaster that we are currently creating.

the place of CHARITY.

Once the government took over charity the people quit because we knew someone else would take care of it.

No. Read her statement:

"Ninety-six percent of people who have to buy their own insurance stand to benefit from this bill, which will likely drive down premiums by double digits.

The remaining 4 percent — those with pre-existing conditions — will be protected..."

She's clearly saying that of the universe of buyers in the individual market only 4% have pre-existing conditions...and she's clearly wrong.
