Trump doesn't have to agree with anything; he can veto the spending measure and let the government "shut down," saying that the bill wasn't what he was elected to be complicit in. Go directly to the American people; his base will rise up in righteous indignation and take it to the Congress.

If we can be this successful fulfilling the Progressive Agenda, then why tilt far left and elect a bunch of Socialists? Really, think about it. Which party is REALLY going to be in the crapper for this "compromise"? All the Washington Post is doing is giving their constituency cover so they can avoid a paralyzing Washington DC shutdown.
