Ryan is incompetent and McConnell is AWOL.

Obamacare remains in place, and Trump will have to agree to pay subsidies to keep it aliveTrump doesn't have to agree with anything; he can veto the spending measure and let the government "shut down," saying that the bill wasn't what he was elected to be complicit in. Go directly to the American people; his base will rise up in righteous indignation and take it to the Congress.

Many of them are in competitive districts and a strict conservative may easily be defeated by a moderate dem.

I think things are better than stated by The Washington Post (obviously). Let them crow. If we can be this successful fulfilling the Progressive Agenda, then why tilt far left and elect a bunch of Socialists? Really, think about it. Which party is REALLY going to be in the crapper for this "compromise"? All the Washington Post is doing is giving their constituency cover so they can avoid a paralyzing Washington DC shutdown.
This is working IMO. Let them go on with their disinformation campaign. They are just poking the bear.

I was just reading ivankas West Wing ideology.. seems more leftist than Hillary. So maybe it’s a good thing Congress is wondering what the heck, especially Constitutionalists and libertarians.

Who influences Ryan and McConnell?
Surely not their constituents!
But I bet their lobbyist buddies and big money donors are drinking champagne.
It’s time for that to stop. Time for the politicos to stick more to their knitting. WE chose them, not their big time friends. And we can choose to not choose them.

Unbelievable. No funding for the wall, funding for PP. The rats may as well have Congress and the WH.

Because we chose to re-elect weasels, they believe they can act like weasels.
Rubio, McCain, Hoeven and Murkowsky were all re-elected after betraying the citizens and the rule of law with their vote for Rubio’s Gang of Amnesty bill.
Why should they worry about complaints from people who voted for them after that betrayal?
We have to stop voting for people just because they wear an R jersey and start Cantorizing the weasels, RIGHT NOW!

Pres. Trump is apparently relying
on his RINO daughter’s lawyer, Gorelick.
Not very smart, Pres. Trump.

I predict President Trump will face down these wascally weasels at a time and place, and in a manner of his own choosing. He has tweeted in the past 24 hours that a good shutdown is what this country needs.
