Seven days without water. Didn’t the cell even have a working toilet?

This event seems like an attempt to take down Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr.

If an inmate was deprived or water for a week that’s murder. By abuse or neglect not sure how you spin that into an attack on the Sherriff for political reasons.

Could be. But if he left someone in a cell to die of thirst, he’s already given them all the ammo they need.

It is a disturbing trend to see deliberate euthanasia techniques being used on patients with dementia in nursing homes and other mental illnesses.

A humane society is measured by how it takes care of those who can’t help themselves.

For all who are claiming the media is trying to take down Sherriff Clark, I won’t necessarily give him a pass. He is after all in a “CEO” type of position.

After reading the article, he seems to have some serious issues with his management team...

Just how does a man die of thirst with LEO all around him for seven days?

That’s some serious lack of humanity and basic lack of caring.

Sherriff Clark needs to clean his own house.

I'm sure the sheriff came and personally turned off the water supply.

Typically, if you lock a man in a cage and deny him water for a week, they call that murder.

“Humane Societies” in the US kill animals. Over 90% of them.

I was referring people. I guess a more succinct word would be ‘civilized’.

I read they turned off the water to his cell because he was using the toilet to flood the place.

I think I will wait and hear some more about this before accuse the Man of turning off the water. I would also say this is why he has not been appointed some place yet, will wait and see how it shakes out.

These officers should have done to them what they did to the prisoner.

They only do that once the patients assets have been looted, stripped and ransacked, leaving the next of kin zip. These nursing homes/old folks homes have become the realm of shysters and con-men

“The jury found probable cause in the actions of seven individuals: Sheriff’s Maj. Nancy Evans, Jail Lt. Kashka Meadors and corrections officers James Ramsey-Guy, Thomas Laine, John Weber, Dominique Smith and JorDon Johnson.”

If he has zero complicity, then fine. The inmate might have even deserved death. But not by thirst. A position of power carries responsibility even with those down the chain of command.

Nursing homes are the biggest scam going, my grandma was in one for a short time and it cost $8,000 a month and there wasn’t even a damn TV in the room. We had to bring one. There is nothing but an on-call doctor one RN that’s a supervisor to LPNs and a couple of CNAs probably making less than $9 an hour. Where the hell does all that money go?
