Police said they killed a suspected shooter Sunday after the gunman injured several other people at an apartment complex in Southern California. Advertisement
According to police, the shooter opened fire in the pool area of a San Diego apartment complex. The shooter pointed a gun toward police when three officers shot him, police said.
There are least eight victims, four men and and four women, San Diego police Chief Shelley Zimmerman said.
The names of the victims have not been released. Police will only say four African American women, two African American men, and one Hispanic man were shot. Another African American man broke his arm as he tried to escape the carnage.

Peter Selis. 47 year old white male with 3 kids obviously separated or divorced since he lived in the apartment complex. Went down to the pool where there was a 50th birthday celebration going on. A party goer invited him to the affair and Selis shot him. With a beer in one hand and a pistol in the other, Selis continued shooting people until the mag ran dry. Worked at a Ford dealership as a mechanic making $75K per annum. Probably had hefty child support payments and decided this was the day to wrap up the mess realizing he would not be celebrating his 50th at the apartment pool or anywhere else.
I read last night that after he shot up the place, he sat down in a lounge chair, cracked open a beer and waited for the cops to come. Then decided to shoot at them when they arrived. Something snapped there.
I'm guessing that noise had something to do with it.

“He had his beer in one hand and his gun in the other,” said the witness, who provided only his first name, John, to the news station. “There were two victims lying on the ground, one trying to crawl toward the other one to help.”

Amberjot Riat, 22, and Kaela Wong, 20, were in the jacuzzi at the apartment complex when the gunfire erupted. Riat said they stayed in the water in hopes of avoiding the shooter’s attention.
After leaving the jacuzzi, they said they moved to a wall and heard the gunman speak to young women who were attending to a wounded friend. “You can either leave or you can stay here and die,” he reportedly told them.
About 30 people were around the pool, and all the victims they could see were black, they said.

Sounds like suicide by cop, but it wasn’t necessary to actually shoot anybody.
All of a sudden, the race of the shooter and the victims is important.
Don’t care about the race of anyone involved, the shooter was an evil piece of zhit.
