WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Rep. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., has introduced bipartisan legislation to boost national security and alleviate the shortage of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and Border Patrol agents along the border. The bill will provide the Commissioner of CBP with discretionary authority to expedite the hiring of existing law enforcement officers and veterans who meet CBP background checks and experience standards.
"Fully staffing our CBP officers at our ports of entry and Border Patrol agents between the ports of entry is vital for security and economic growth of our communities and nation, said McSally, Chairwoman of the Border and Maritime Security subcommittee. These shortages have grown worse over the last several years. These common sense discretionary tools will give the CBP Commissioner the ability to transition those who have taken an oath and put their lives on the line for us already into these critical positions more expeditiously while continuing to provide safeguards against corruption."
Staffing shortages at dorder? Is that border?
What’s a dorder? Is that like a disorder?
Right at the doundary.
Yes.
I Guess you could say that Border Enforcment for “at least the last 8 years has been a Disorder.”
Run to the dorder.
As we are starting to learn from Conservative Treehouse, this is most likely a ploy to get donations and contact names.
All real legislation begins on K-Street
Allow local law enforcement to help.
