Ivanka Trump, already under growing fire from some in the conservative camps who think she’s exerting too much influence over dad Donald, is now calling for the White House to open doors to Syrian refugees.
Conservatives and border control advocates are quite right to be concerned.
Ivanka’s soft stance on refugees would seem a direct conflict with President Donald Trump’s campaign promises to crack down on borders — and particularly, on the entrance of refugees from terror-tied nations who could prove a national security danger to American citizens.

I can’t believe there were people on FR defending Trump having her in the WH last January. I remember saying that we complained about Hillary in the 90s affecting policy.

I did not vote for Ivanka. She needs to step aside and stop undermining her father and the voters that put him in the White House.

No thank you, Ivanka. House them in Trump properties in other countries if you want to but do not bring them into our country.
Someone needs to tell her that her stance on Syrian and all refugees is cruel. You can not take people and uproot them from everything they know and love and throw them into a culture that is totally foreign to them, who speak a language they do not speak, and expect them to be good with it. What happens when the war is over? Is she willing to destroy a civilization that is thousands of years old because she has a misguides sense of “helping”? Those people should be in a safe zone and cared for over there so when the war is over they can return home.
Surely Ivanka is not so stupid as to believe Syrian refugees will enhance our quality of life and support our Constitution.

Trump has certainly put himself and the American people in a compromising position by hiring his libturd daughter and son-in-law. The old saying that Blood is thicker than water will never change so I expect Trump will be taking their advise, thus ignoring much of what the US citizens elected him to do.
