Title: Rep. Black Slams California Judge Ruling Blocking Trump Administration’s Crack Down on Sanctuary Cities
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06), a member of the House Border Security Caucus and author of the Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act, responded to California Judge William Orrick’s ruling to block the Trump Administration’s actions to enforce common-sense immigration policy and withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities. Black released the following statement:
“Yesterday’s ruling by one activist California judge will not stop the Trump Administration’s efforts to restrict funding from sanctuary cities that defy federal law. In fact, the ruling confirms that the Justice Department can continue to enforce existing requirements that billions of dollars in federal law enforcement funding go only to localities that meet their legal obligation to share immigration information and assist federal authorities in carrying out immigration law.
“While the Administration continues to fight for these common-sense policies in court, Congress can act immediately to ensure the grant dollars in question, and many other sources of federal funding, are not sent to sanctuary cities.
“To protect our citizens across the nation, I co-authored H.R. 400, the Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act, with Senator Pat Toomey to block these law breaking jurisdictions from receiving federal funds from a wide variety of agencies and programs. Our legislation currently has over 100 co-sponsors in the House and Senate.
“I applaud President Trump for his leadership in cracking down on dangerous sanctuary cities. Immediate passage of H.R. 400 is the fastest and best solution to put an end to the sanctuary cities placing the convenience of violent drug cartels and repeat law breakers ahead of the safety and security of their own citizens.”

I have noticed over and over that our “safety” is not even a consideration when it comes to immigrants or Sanctuary Cities, etc. Now, why is that? Apparently our children don’t matter regardless of their skin color and regardless of our skin color, our safety doesn’t matter.
Maybe we should all get our CC permits. Lots of safety precautions in those courses. Actually I think that is a good idea....
Texas just passed a law that you don’t need a PERMIT for CC.
Impeach any judge who steps outside the law. Demand this of congress.

OTOH, any reduction in the amount of Federal funds going out, especially to the Liberal bastions, is a small step in the right direction.
The only place government has in anything is for national defense and for odd-ball things like lighthouses (in the old days anyway).
If Churches stop accepting tax-free status, they can carry their message w/o interference. lot of good would be done by stopping all but the absolute necessary government handouts.

The money should be withheld and the mayor notified by his panicked treasurer screaming to him that the money wasn’t deposited as usual.
Corker and Alexander both voted for Rubio’s Gang of Amnesty bill. The only other state that had both Senators vote for that was Arizona.
Corker is up in 2018 and needs to be Cantorized.
The Republican legislature of Tennessee recently voted to give illegal aliens in-state tuition.
Both of their Senators voted for Rubio’s Gang of Amnesty bill.
Tennessee has some cleaning up to do.
No elected official should be protecting illegal aliens from our laws, including President Trump.
The illegal DACA program must end.
