What???...your post makes no sense to me. What city just had its funds withheld. Give me a city and a source. Which city was designated a sanctuary city under the narrow definiion
Btw..there are only three grants they can block as I understand it.
This is still happening while the rest is adjudicated to the Supreme Court.
There is nothing stopping this cutting of funds.

That release shows where it is going to get messy. If a State has a law preventing sharing of info..can federal govt withold funds even if funds withheld meet the anti coercion standard.

I understand just fine. The judge clearly said that Sanctuary cities or so-called Sanctuary cities still come under the law as per the immigration statue. He stayed the EO because he said it was overly broad.
Any City can call itself a sanctuary City or any other kind of the city. It’s not what they call them self it’s how they act. Cities that are promised grant money and are told that as a condition of this grant money they must do ABC and D, can have that grant money held back if in fact they do not comply with the requirements necessary for them to receive the grant money.
Nope. Name the city that meets the narrow definition. Hint..read up on the meeting yesterday with session and the mayors.
What must they not do in order for money to be withheld until this gets to Scotus. Name abcd...

Apparently there are no sanctuary cities because mayors are claiming they are complying with a vague piece of required law.
One more thing. No money being withheld as of yesterday like someone claimed. Cities have been given until June 30th to respond...then there will be an evaluation.

I have, stated some things that are factual, that he has slipped up on doing. Nobody is perfect and if you are now claiming that Trump is, then that is a problem you need to overcome.
