U.S. public schools educating Mexicans living in Mexico
American Thinker ^ | 4/26/17 | Ed Straker

I was reading an article about a Calexico, California, private school on the border with Mexico which has a lot of students who pay tuition and come across the border every day from Mexico, and this seemingly innocuous sentence caught my eye:

Every day, the students said, they stand in border lines made longer by Mexicali youths who are illegally attending free, public Calexico schools.

That's right! Mexican children are crossing the border every day and getting a free public education in America, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer. These are not legal residents of the U.S.; they are not even illegal residents of the U.S. These are people who currently live in Mexico, getting a free education in public schools in border towns.

Time to cut federal funding for any school district not complying with residency requirements.

And "F" the judge who rules it unconstitutional.

This happens in El Paso and I suspect all along the border. Guess the only positive note is that at least they go home each night. Maybe we should do the same with all illegal aliens, those so-called dreamers, boot them across the border but let them come over each day to attend school, then go home and stay in Mexico when not in school.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Anchor babies go on full welfare before they're 6 mos old and it's perfectly legal. They have to have a legal guardian but the "LG" DOES NOT have to be a US citizen.

One inch verses one mile. One miles verses ten miles. Ten miles verses one hundred miles. One hundred miles verses one thousand miles. One thousand miles verses ten thousand miles and at ten thousand miles ... mission accomplished. I call it the five step method employed by one’s enemies. Very innocent, in the beginning, to very aggressive later.

Back in the 1960s I had acquaintances whose kids did this in Texas. They walked across the bridge to go to school.

At this point, if we can’t build the wall, can we annex Mexico?

I recall a TV report on this at least ten or fifteen years ago. It’s probably been going on for many decades.

The very first line of the article says this is a PRIVATE school. If so, who cares some Mexican children cross the border to attend. Note also that the article says that the children present AMERICAN BIRTH CERTIFICATES to cross the border. Given that their parents reside so close to the US, it is very likely they were actually born in the US, and are thus citizens.

So although we may not approve, there is nothing illegal going on here.

In 1982 the U.S. Supreme Court, in the landmark case Plyler v. Doe, upheld the “right” of every child, no matter his or her immigration status, to attend a U.S. public school from kindergarten through 12th grade. Another case where the court found “rights” that don’t exist. Anchor babies is another flawed example of judicial malfeasance.

What problem would that solve?
Other than the Democrats’ problem of how to enable tens of millions of Mexicans to vote in US elections, that is . . .

“”Back in the 1960s I had acquaintances whose kids did this in Texas. They walked across the bridge to go to school.””

I believe it’s been the usual/standard practice since then if not earlier. At any rate, it’s not a new story.

This goes back to Carter, I think the courts said we had to pay.

Read the article - the students of the private school are complaining of the lines of Mexicali youths who are illegally attending free, public Calexico schools.
