Oooo...I remember you talking about that and I hope it works. I hope it only takes one surgery. Eeeeee!!
I have developed some double vision from a weak eye, too. But the doc I went to said surgery wouldn’t help it. Drat! Thank goodness it hasn’t gotten any worse. I mostly go without glasses or contacts since I retired, and my right eye has improved to the point that I can see way better at far away things than I used to.
I pray it takes only one surgery but the optometrist told me not to bank on it. That’s one thing I like about him - - he tells it like it is.
If your eye’s only recently started “travelling”, they wouldn’t do surgery. They wait until it’s way out there before doing it. Mine’s been “travelling” for about 30 years - - a slow process. Mom had the same thing and was about my age when they did her surgery.
Neat you’ve gotten some improvement in vision lately! How many can say that? :-)
I had read ages ago that near-sighted people sometimes had a reversal as the years go by and I’m happy to report that it has...at least on one eye. When I drive, I just use a contact for my left eye and that works great!
I love a doc who tells the unvarnished truth. So few of them can manage that! You’re lucky! :)

Well that’s cool! I wish it worked for far-sightedness as well. Without my glasses, anything closer than clouds in the sky is fuzzy. LOL!
A doc who doesn’t mince words is a must, whether for me or for the cats. I might not like what I hear very time - like this time LOL - but at least I know what to expect.
WOOHOO! So glad that was posted on YT because I sure missed it “live”. Almost makes ya cry, doesn’t it? But then that not-so-graceful de-railing makes ya LOL!
Looks like they’re in for more storms tonight. I noticed lightning flickering in the distance.

The lightning in the distance is toward the south and had already passed through OKC. I guess there are more coming from the west.

Tomorrow is grocery day - ohthethrillofit - but it’ll be pretty weather for it. Storms coming through late tomorrow night and I’m glad they’re waiting!
I noticed the storms had already passed when I looked at the radar a little later. That system is what’s coming through here tomorrow night.
Silly bird did look embarrassed after the tumble. LOL! I replayed that moment a few times. :-)

Probably about right.
I had to do an intervention a year or so ago,
as I was finding myself online too long; then,
I had to rush to finish other things.
Plus, I promised myself I wouldn't get on computer
at night after hubby got home unless I absolutely had to.
Praise the Lord! I think we may see the sun today.
And tomorrow.
However, there's a heatwave coming
with possible thunderstorms throughout the weekend.
Oh well. April going out with a bang.
Gonna make my rounds, catch up on pings.
Then need to run a few errands this morning.
