I found your mild vote of no confidence exasperating and premature, but by no means a reason to leave FR.
I agree with the other posters who have assessed the scale of the opposition to him from all sides. In spite of a mountain of negativity, foolishness and well-funded pure evil, he has persevered, and I predict he will continue doggedly until few can deny. Reagan did it, and Trump will also give it all he's got.

That is easily the most outrageous bit of hyperbole one can imagine being posted, even in Free Republic, this side of Washington, Lincoln and Reagan.
Greater than the Father of the Country, than the Savior of the Country, and Greater than the Rescuer of Our Country and the Free World? Really?
Trump is doing very well, but this is getting pretty thick in here
Jeez
This is how I feel. I wish someone would take his phone away.
I agree - I also I agree I might be getting a bit pearl clutchy and I myself find it tiresome because of all things I figured I could tend to my business and president DJT would take care of biznuss - okay I admit that is a naive thing to think in terms of what I alone know about DC
What I do believe however is that is never going to get easier and each day gone by is a day toward running out the clock. And yes I understand that prevent defense can bite you in the ass but I also understand why highly skilled and experience players and coaches use the strategy for a reason.
This belief causes my mentat sweep to focus on fighting the judicial tyranny as soon as possible and causing or brinksmenship up to gubermint shutdown as quick as possible.
There needs to be time to start enacting or removing policy before the election - it seems as though its always going to be - some sort of gee whiz we'd like to do that but... or some trotskyite in a black robe vomits an opinion and for some reason it must be immediately adhered to -
the Trump I voted for would say BS this is being explicitly and deliberately ignored further I will be huddling with congress to lobby them lobby them I said lobby them to impeach this judge. None of this see you in the Supreme Court BS no - you have no power here Gandalf or was it Wizard of Oz its all muddled, style! You shall not pass thats what I was picturing... Anyhow
The gloves are off if you haven't noticed - I'm sure you have.
My reasoning is that if president Trump does NOT cause a big kerfuffle right now and get his/Americas way the republicans will be all to happy to lose the house in full knowledge the Democrats will immediately begin impeachment proceedings and passing that to the senate. After that the trial finds president Trump innocent the next two years are going to be pure chaos as Trump will do what he wants Administratively like Obama while Congress goes crazy.
Our justice system has been co-opted into a legal system - that legal system has corrupted the rule of law into the rule of man.
president Trump must stop this insanity (paging Susan Powers) stick to the fundamentals, wall, tax, repeal, jobs. Organize us through Twitter sir we can make the congress critters vote correctly if you can lead and we know you can.
Believe me Luircin, I'm not ready to give up on my President (I've got MAGA hat 840 something and cool letter) but things seem unnecessarily wobbly.
Trump hasn’t caved on anything, he continues to fight for every campaign promise.
What do you think, he can just wave the magic president wand and laws are passed a moment later? He is still fighting and needs our support not weak sister drama.
DJT promised...*repeatedly* promised...to "drain the swamp".But in this, his first real venture to the edges of the swamp,he stepped back rather than get his shoes dirty. When you give into a bully even *once*,as he's just done, that bully knows that he *owns* you.
Remember...General Patton wasn't a believer in "strategic withdrawals".
Are you an American citizen, and did you vote in the last election?
Interesting, I just received an email from the Trump people asking about his job performance.
I voted positive on all questions.
Yes to both questions.
I actually started supporting trump over two years ago now.
Was one of the 23,000 voters in Michigan, who voted for him, who contributed to him winning this state.
I haven’t really posted in the last day, I think I am ok now.
But Trump, you really, really, really, really, really need to get to work on the wall.
I’m completely series.
You did not answer my questions.
I guess so.
Oh sorry.
See post 98, yes I am a citizen of America, and yes I voted for Donald Trump.
Yes.
Next question.
Provide a link to past posts/replies supporting Trump.
Thanks!
Post 97, and all of my posting history, for the entire last two years.
