AG Sessions: Improper Payments to ‘Mostly Mexicans’ Could Fund Border Wall
thegatewaypundit ^ | Carter

On ABC’s “This Week” this Sunday, Attorney General, Jeff Sessions remarked that through the improperly paid tax credits to “mostly Mexicans”, the border wall could be funded.

The following is a partial transcript:

STEPHANOPOULOS: You sound quite confident right there.

Do you have any evidence that Mexico is going to pay for it?

SESSIONS: Well, we’re going to get paid for it one way or the other. I know there’s $4 billion a year in excess payments, according to the Department of the Treasury’s own inspector general several years ago that are going to payments to people — tax credits that they shouldn’t get.

Now, these are mostly Mexicans.

And those kind of things add up — $4 billion a year for 10 years is $40 billion. There are a lot of ways we can find money to help pay for this. But in the long run…

STEPHANOPOULOS: How are you going to…

SESSIONS: — they’ve lost those…

STEPHANOPOULOS: — account for that money?

SESSIONS: What’s that?

STEPHANOPOULOS: How are you going to account for…

SESSIONS: Well, we just…

STEPHANOPOULOS: — that money?

SESSIONS: The Department of Treasury, several years ago, under the Obama administration, said that if you change the regulations and enforced it properly, you would save up to $4 billion a year.

There are other things that we can do at the border to create revenue that would pay for the wall. There’s no doubt about that.

STEPHANOPOULOS: But in your discussions with your counterparts in Mexico, they have given no indication at all that the Mexican government is prepared to pay a single cent for this wall (INAUDIBLE)?

SESSIONS: Well, I don’t expect the Mexican government to appropriate money for it. But there are ways that we can deal with our trade situation to create the revenue for it. No doubt about it.

Libs are so dumb, clueless and lack any kind of creative thought processing. They can’t think beyond stealing your money and losing it without any accountability or conscience.

Could probably fund a wall across the Canadian border, too.

IRS wastes billions in bogus claims for Earned Income Tax Credit

From 2013:

"The Internal Revenue Service paid up to $13.6 billion in bogus claims for the Earned Income Tax Credit last year and as much as $132.6 billion over the past decade, according to an internal audit that already has some members of Congress questioning how the agency will be able to administer Obamacare."

they are not that dumb. They got to give our money to illegals in the form of tax credits. Some families got thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. Did you? I see nothing stupid but everything Sinister about it.

Beyond funny is that maybe 20 billion dollars and more have been given to illegals in tax money? Maybe you got a kick out of that. I don’t.

LOL. Bill-signing memes crack me up above all others, especially that one about pardoning Based stickman on the left page and legalizing cracking liberal skull on the right page.

Take the tax money going to sanctuary cities and use that to build the wall.

URL doesn’t work—only says page cannot be found.
I went to Politico and Breitbart and my searches came up empty.
Could you please provide details as to times for tomorrow.

BTW, it’s get to have OANN now on Directv channel 347.

Hopefully, you’ll be able to share pertinent info asap.

Did this dumbass actually think the Mexicans were going to send their government's money to the U.S.? The wall WILL be paid for by Mexico by less money being sent TO Mexico.

20 billion in tax dollars to Mexicans: just list 20 dependent children. Get lots of earned income tax credits for non-existent children. Or list all of the children in some village in Mexico that are nor even related to you. The rip off of America by the Mexicans can only be stopped by enforcement of the laws...and the building of the walls.

I don’t care who pays for it, and I don’t care what President Trump promised on the campaign trail about who’d pay for it. I just want the wall built. Now.
