Why banning The Red Pill is bad for feminism

Another day, another students’ union ban. This time, student officers at the University of Sydney Union have shown their contempt for their peers by banning a documentary about the men’s rights movement. A screening of The Red Pill had been organised by the University of Sydney’s Conservative Club, Students For Liberty, and a student group called BroSoc, but the students’ union cancelled the event.

According to its website, The Red Pill is a documentary about the ‘mysterious and polarising world of the men’s rights movement’. It chronicles ‘feminist filmmaker’ Cassie Jaye’s exploration of ‘an alternative perspective on gender equality, power and privilege’. Throughout the documentary, Jaye claims she ‘learns the various ways men are disadvantaged and discriminated against’. Unsurprisingly, the documentary has caused outrage since its release, with critics declaring it ‘misogynistic propaganda’.

It’s fair enough to criticise the documentary, but people should watch it and make up their own minds. And what better place to discuss a political documentary than a university? Aren’t students meant to be exposed to challenging ideas they disagree with?

Not according to the University of Sydney Union. In a statement released online, the students’ union announced it was prohibiting the movie from being screened on union-managed parts of campus. It also banned any union funds from being used to screen it. ‘The planned screening of this documentary would be discriminatory against women, and has the capacity to intimidate and physically threaten women on campus’, it said. ‘This documentary is decidedly anti-feminist and anti-woman, focussing not on the ways in which the systemic issues of patriarchy may also adversely affect men, but instead placing the blame on women and feminism specifically for men’s issues.’

In other words, the documentary disputes the dominant narrative around gender equality, and the University of Sydney Union can’t allow that. Apparently discussing issues facing men would have been fine if the documentary blamed all the problems on The Patriarchy. Related categories Australia Free speech

Forget the men’s rights movement – is there anything less feminist than the claim that young women need to be protected from a documentary? By claiming that the documentary could ‘physically threaten women on campus’, the students’ union is painting women as too weak and vulnerable to engage in intellectual life.

Whether or not you agree with the premise of The Red Pill, it shouldn’t be banned. Students who disagree with it should go along to the screening and argue their case against it, not stop it from being shown altogether.

Feminism has not claimed that women are equals to men for a long time. On the contrary, feminism holds women as stupid, overly emotional, and delicate. Modern feminism has taken every stereotype about the weaker sex and exaggerates it. The major difference between feminism and the patriarchal attitudes of the 1800s is that in the 1800s, men protected women, now feminists want to indulge in weakness and expect "society" or institutions to protect them while wanting nothing to do with men.

I am actually beginning to wonder if the majority of women are incapable of behaving intelligently--if the entire premise of feminism is based in a fantasy.

Yes, feminists do mistreat and degrade men. But their treatment of women is scarcely better.

Feminism is all about taking all the power and leaving men powerless, while claiming to be the perpetual victim in need of evermore protection (ie power).

Years from now, these kids will say that this stupidity is not their faults. "It was set by previous generations and we had been brainwashed and went with the flow. We are the victims. We no longer do that so do not blame us."

They all love to claim that there are the wonderful agents of change, meaning their actions are willful conscious choice and they are proud of it. Years later, they tend to say, "No we had no choice. We were just part of huge tide we cannot control."

Every generation resorts to the same argument to whitewash their liberal past.

Dr. Jordan Peterson describes it as the dystopia we get when a large group with an unexpressed maternal instinct is in control.
“We’ll nurture you, we love you, we’ll take care of you, we’ll rip apart anyone who threatens our little babies, just cry and we’ll come running - but you have to remain a helpless little baby and we have to discipline you hard for not staying inside strict rules for your safety because you don’t know better. But it is all for your own good.”

That’s as much a result of women having fewer children or none at all as a dominant ideology that feelings dictate morality.

Free speech ended with political correctness (Cultural Marxism) and when the Marxists took over the curricula in skools in 1930 and totally by 1970 with their faux “feminism”, “Progressivism”, “Gender theory” “diversity lies”, “tolerance of evil, vile behaviors “lies”, and “don’t JUDGE” theory taught to all four year olds so they would ‘FEEL” “evil” if they dared “think” evil, vile behaviors were evil.

All irrational, insane, vile anti-reason, anti-science, anti-patriarchy Marxist “theories” shoved down the throats (literally) of our children to create hate and division and WARP natural instincts in children so that Up is Down, Vice is Virtue and Slavery is Freedom.

Without Classical Christian curricula there is no ability for children to “think” critically, to have an integrated brain so they can actually “think” for themselves—outside of the box—not just have a tribal, collective “group-(non)-think” mindset. They have to brainwash and program children and get them OUT of the Natural Family away from loving, caring mother and father so they can be totally warped for life.

Fichte and Wundt knew that you could destroy Free Will in children and make them so irrational (for life) if you could get them outside of the male/female paradigm and repeat lies and disinformation 24/7 so their foundations are made up of warped, artificial environments/tv screens, etc.,==all programming systems to destroy brain integration and create “bots”-—just people who regurgitate the agitprop fed to them from TV/Movies/ etc., which normalizes evil, vile behaviors and attitudes and desires-—so they will be dysfunctional and immoral for life.

Vice creates Slaves for the State. The Greek Masters understood that without virtue formation in children, they remained slaves for life. Christian virtue (ethics) created the most perfect, free cultures in the history of mankind because abstract “thinking” was developed along with the concept of free will and individualism (Natural Rights only from God). This only occurred when children understood Natural Laws (common sense) by being raised in a Natural family without group indoctrination centers which deliberately destroys Virtue formation.

Insightful. Another way to say it, “Any man who is not liberal at twenty has no heart. Any man who is not conservative at forty has no brain.”

Which relates directly to this article: when teenagers outnumber mature adults (35 and older), society is ripe for violence.

Since the demographics aren't there, it seems the left unconsciously is trying to extend the teen years and keep adults immature.
