Only the voters in Ryan’s district can get rid of Ryan. He is not a quitter like Boehner. Trump is stuck with him, so he will just have to go over Ryan’s head to the American people.

“Is that the same Trump who recently announced a $1 trillion infrastructure program, which will be entirely funded by borrowed money?”

It’s the same Trump who has done more to advance the conservative agenda in 100 days than your so-called conservative heroes Bush I and Bush II did in 12 years.

The OMB has forecast federal budget deficits for the next five years - their max forecast is only five years.

The deficit for Fiscal 2017, which is just six months old, is already over $500 billion.

Revenue collections from Medicare and Social Security taxes for Fiscal 2017 are up like 1%-2%, but expenditures for Medicare and Social Security are growing 2 or 3 times faster than that.

The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates. That means the interest payments on our federal debt will reach $500 billion per year by 2018.

Then, Trump will add a $1 trillion infrastructure program on top of that.

You don't need a reference, be-baw.

You just need a refresher course in first grade mathematics.

“...your so-called conservative heroes Bush I and Bush II...”

MY heroes?

Where did that goofball idea come from?

The Bush family has been a political catastrophe for the Conservative agenda.

Except for the border wall, which hasn't even been funded, Trump's political philosophy is the same as, or further to the Left of, Bush One and Bush Two.

Oh, my mistake. You’re one of FR’s “I Walk on Water” cultists. You’re the perfect conservative. If you don’t get 100% of what you want IMMEDIATELY, then you whine like a little girl. Wahhhh!

I have no details & no links, although I’m sure some FReepers do. However, wasn’t the infrastructure plan proposed as private-public partnerships with some investment coming from the private sector?

First time I heard that.

How is the private sector going to recover its investment?

If there is a viable free market way to recover their investment, then the private sector doesn’t need any help at all from government.

No idea on all counts. I just recall that phrase.
