The media is downplaying, and in most cases ignoring, the extreme nature of the crisis currently going on in socialist Venezuela under the Maduro regime. Most of the cries for help are from people begging the international media to cover their plight.
Some of the video and photography are stunning as millions of people take to the streets to protest a collapsing economy and food shortages while being met with tanks, guns and rogue militias hired by the government.
Some of the targeted citizens appear chosen at random. Some of the citizens are also desperate and fighting back. Warning – These images are graphic and the video feeds are also alarming. However, the media are barely reporting on any of this, and unfortunately, it looks like things are getting worse:

The media are their enemy! They will not cover their plight unless it gets into a civil war, then they will be called 'rebels' or 'anti-government forces'..............
They should focus all their efforts on one goal, Maduro’s head on a stick.
When will the military collapse and hang Maduro the Bus Driver like Mussolini?................
And for those who thought Atlas Shrugged was pulp fiction and way over the top, this is Atlas Shrugged in real time.
They need guns and ammo.
Brutal communist dictatorships don’t care about a few protest signs from the hungry serfs.
Good thing they have plenty of ‘gun safety’ laws there.
Venezuela has already sailed off and over and is plunging down hard.
Haven't seen anything like that since the crackdown in Tienanmen Square, and then Romania a few months afterward in 1989.

When socialism and liberalism fail, it makes a hell of a mess. One which, all too often, good people die. No wonder the majority of the world's media wants to keep this quiet. Liberalism promises a utopia. Instead it inevitably delivers a Mad Max movie.
Call it what is...communism. Dictatorial, brutal, and authoritarian
Asking the media to report it is like asking the blind to talk of colors.
This is exactly why the totalitarians ban and confiscate guns. It’s always the first thing they do.
Makes it so much easier to murder people later.
Once they come for your guns, you can rest assured what’s coming next.
This is not going to end well for the Chavenistas.
It’s coming to a head now, yet our media chooses not to draw lessons from it. That wouldn’t fit the narrative.
Maybe we should send Sean Penn back down to patch things up.

75% of the voters voted for this hell and now they want help getting out. This is a necessary step for them to go through so they are motivated to do the right things. Until they realize that the voters created this hell and that they need to recognize their mistakes they belong exactly on the dung heap they have created.

It appears that Venezuelan society has become somewhat polarized.
“75% of the voters voted for this hell...”
That might be the official count but I’m not so certain of it.
