Whether the North could actually sustain all out war for an extended period is questionable, but an attack on Seoul South Korea is a certainty.
If/when there is a evacuation of Seoul, you'll know this is not all posturing.

I wonder why we don’t have a missile defense system to protect South Korea at least - links are from 2014 and 2016 - the last one must be on the drawing board and would protect the US also....

During the last 8 years Kim has not only develuped an array of missles capable of reaching Hawaii and Alaska but also about 20 nuclear weapons and is now building about 6 more a year.
He could indeed kill millions of Americans and millions of South Koreans and Japaneses.
The problem is only getting worse, the north Korean regime will collapse of its own weight and just before it does it leaders are likely to want to go out fighting. Becase they are going to be killed either way.
Its really just a question of how long until that happens and how many missile and weapons North Korea will have to launch at us.
