Democrats, Don't You Ever Change
Townhall ^ | April 20, 2017 | Kurt Schlichter

Posted on 04/20/2017 3:31:16 AM PDT by blackbetty59

Look, Democrats, speaking sincerely as your friend, understand that everyone who says you need to take a deep look at yourselves is a racist, sexist, homophobe who won’t even ask about your preferred pronoun. Whatever you do, don’t you ever change.

Don’t be fooled by how America tossed out over a thousand Democrat legislators since Barack Obama was crowned, or by the way that people chose Donald Trump over that sexy beast you wanted to coronate.

Kurt is always a good read. The only thing he got wrong was the part about Republican soul searching. Many of the Republican puppeteers think to this day Republican voters with happily stand getting groin kicked by their own "leaders."

The people who had enough didn't have to search any souls. They just stopped listening to the likes of Boehner and McCain and Ryan and Bush. It didn't require soul searching...only the notion if you tell people something to get votes, you ought to do that which you promised to get you the votes.

He’s starting to overdo it with the shtick. Stick to clear writing Kurt, and limit the teenie Cosmo crap.

Billy Joel said the same thing long ago:

Don’t go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before
Don’t imagine you’re too familiar
And I don’t see you anymore

I wouldn’t leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I’ll take the bad times
I’ll take you just the way you are

Don’t go trying some new fashion
Don’t change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

I don’t want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you and that’s forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are.

Here are my favorite lines-—

And before our re-think, we Republicans thought our voters were up for pretty much any war.

Sure, our constituents have always defended this country, but after the last 15 year cluster-fark, they had gotten a tad disenchanted with getting blown-up whilst being moved around the international chessboard by a coterie bow-tied tuffboys who never had to worry about the lead heading their way.

It turns out our voters were only for wars that were important enough to our security that we actually intended on winning them.

No better proof than the recent Georgia election where Hollywood lefties campaigned for pajama boy. Having the Hollywood nutbags campaign for Hillary worked so well. Even Miley Cyrus tweaks and Madonna’s promise of oral sex didn’t carry Hillary over the finish line

From the article:

Republicans discovered that 58-year old voters supporting their families
on $35 an hour whose jobs some rich donor was shipping to Juarez needed a
better answer than, “Well, if you ever read Milton Friedman, you’d know that
you’re obsolete. Go learn computers or something. Maybe you can land a data
entry gig for $10.25 an hour. Maybe.”

This is written to be sarcastic and funny, but it's very true. It's not hyperbole.

This whole "re-training" scam has been going for for at least 20 years that I know of.

And yet, there are still many "Conservatives" in Congress, the establishment, and on this very forum, that think viciously and callously outsourcing jobs is "All American Free Market Principles."

Sorry A-holes, your scam has been discovered.
