I listened to a O’Reilly segment producer on KABC radio this Wednesday and he was supporting O’Reilly even knowing about what he did to women. The problem at Fox is lack of morals.
You do not pay out $13 million over the years and keep the guy who cost you that amount employed.
Maybe they are going to have a gay political hour?????? And Shep will host it.
The Bonner group, a Super PAC and fundraiser for Hillary and the DNC and associated with Media Matters is behind this. They tried it with Rush but it didn’t work. Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson is the next target.
I read that they have had to pay $13 million to women for things O’Reilly allegedly did. $13 million is nothing for 20 years. You know there are always bimbos trying to make a buck by accusing some famous man of doing something knowing there will be a settlement just to shut it up whether it’s true or not. You don’t stay number 1 for 20 years by not making the network money. Those sons will run that network in the dirt and it will end up like all the other liberal propaganda news networks. The sons are spoiled brats that don’t appreciate O’Reilly’s contribution to the network.
They didn’t have to pay them. They just wanted to keep the negative controversy from potential litigation out of the news. Usually doesn’t end well when you feed the beasts in an effort to appease them. I’ll always give Trump credit for fighting against most of the lawsuits thrown his way.
Part of the problem is the broadening definition of sexual harassment, just as the definition of sexual assault has broadened to mean anything leftists want on college campuses. The sexual harassment laws as written make lots of forms of speech illegal. They’re unconstitutional.
The money will pour into the leftist groups who achieved this takedown now and they will be able to stage more and more attacks. The culture has gotten to the point where sponsors will run terrified from anyone the left labels racist or sexist. And the left has created a powerful, organized grass-roots organization in the wake of the Trump victory that conservatives apparently have no counterpart to. Rush probably would not be able to survive the “slut” incident if it happened today.
The complaints are utterly trivial and frivolous. No one was touched. And there is no timeline established that shows anyone was fired for refusing O’Reilly’s requests for a date. Andrea Tantaros mentioned O’Reilly asked her out in her lawsuit but did not include O’Reilly as someone she was suing because he didn’t “retaliate” against her. The woman in the current complaint also isn’t suing because she has no provable case of retaliation. She was still a guest on his show for months after she turned down his offer.
And then a couple other women they’re piling on this week are literally just saying he made a single joke or remark that made them “uncomfortable” or even looked at them in an “offensive” way. These charges are comically thin. And they are classic leftist pile-on smear tactics. We saw the exact same thing with Trump, where a sexually-oriented remark he made was turned into the equivalent of rape. And this by leftists who have encouraged a sex-soaked culture for decades in their TV and movies.

This is so totally NOT about Bill O’Reilly. This is about leftist control of the nation’s media which cannot come about if free speech continues to exist. The death knell of freedom has begun to ring and, in the view of those of us who see the big picture, O’Reilly is a victim, publicly humiliated for what was probably perfectly acceptable, heterosexual, male behavior for most women. I will not live to see it, but in a time to come, I believe that “radical feminism” will be viewed as one of the evils which destroyed civilized life in ancient America, the first sign of which was to despise the “fruit” of their own bodies which will be seen as worse than cannibalism. Ask yourself this question? Is the world better off with the communication technology we now have where fake information and concepts can be repeated until lies replace truth? I have seen people I know on FB totally revamp their histories through the power of a post here, a photo there, an impression of their family no one who knows them could believe. Sometimes I think technology would make a good non-human anti-Christ. This is a sad day. Try to do something good for someone today. If I lived next door to O’Reilly, I would bake cookies and deliver them with a kind word of support and promise to pray about his situation. YES! The hypocrisy is so “in the face” of anyone who watches TV or knows of the sex and violence portrayed and promoted in movies and music. The hatred by the media and entertainment of heterosexual, white males, who are old and conservative, is vile. I told my old, very manly, husband of more years than many people have been alive that the situation today is such that you almost have to view the serpent in the Garden of Eden as a good guy. Too me, this O’Reilly thing is just so twisted and wrong.
