It is so hard to lose another fellow patriot in the fight for freedom.

I sincerely hope he made his peace with Jesus, and I pray for his family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Kevin is honored for his service to his country, especially during the Cold War when hostilities could have broken out at any time and he would have been in the very middle of it.

May his life inspire others to take up the flag of freedom and bring it forward.

I am so sorry to hear of this. He was a true patriot, and I hope his family knows that many FReepers are praying for comfort for his friends and family and that he finds eternal repose in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.

I just spent a couple of hours reading Kevin's old posts. He did some terrific work. Here is an old thread where he, I, and others debunked a phony war hero article and forced the paper to publish a retraction. Kevin was a fine writer, informed on a dizzying array of topics, and just generally smart as hell. Rest in peace....
