At some point a man has to stand for something, if not then to me at least it means he agrees with what is happening. Maybe those officers don’t agree and will at some point stand up and speak out if not allowed to do anything. Until that point I would not be so sure of how they see things. Some LEOs are liberals, and I would not be surprised to find liberal officers in Berkeley of all places.

This is a perfect storm abuilding; a total breakdown of leadership and a collapse of the social contract.
Dealing with brass knuckles, blackjacks, mace and baseball bats is no longer the job of the normal citizen. Either extraordinary citizens must step up to deal with thugs or the police must be authorized to use force proportionate to the weapons and mayhem brought on by the thugs, whether hired or "volunteers."
Further, hiring of thugs shall constitute a felony... One count for each body hired.

Regarding all the events at Berkeley and all the queries as to why campus police tolerated, even condoned outright criminal rioting, why hasn’t there been any association of Napolitano? She came from DHS to Univ of Ca, and has had similar policies at DHS promoting mass anarchy in US culture.

Exactly. I know a few guys from the gun store that are very serious people. If the left shows up with guns and starts shooting many will be shocked to find that their fellow fascists were killed with a head shot from over 400 yards.
You should also consider and study the Finnish Civil War of 1918. Though only about four months in duration, about 1% of Finland;s population died in the fighting; here in the US, it took us four years, 1860-1865, to knock off around 2% of our population at the time. That'd work out to around 35 million American deaths given today's population....
And in Finland, only about 1 death in 4 was what could reasonably considered a combat casualty, the rest were executed upon being taken prisoner, either by shooting or by bayoneting, often by new teenaged rookies being introduced to the realities of their new trade. Others died in subzero temperatures while being kept in animal pens, or simply died of starvation or untreated injuries.
The war began in 1918 when Finland's Socialist government announced their intention to join Finland to the new Russian-led Soviet Union, telling their Finnish opponents there was nothing they could do about it. As it turned out, they were wrong about that.... And the 100th Anniversary of that Finnish cleansing of traitors is coming up soon; we really should think of an appropriate way to thank the Finns for setting their fine example.
