He’s running as a sacrificial lamb, sort of like John Kerry in 2004. They need someone to lose who won’t be lamented or have snowflakes rioting at his defeat, so he’s the man.

I remember when being married was a requirement for office...... or, heck, that “dating” someone for 12 YEARS would make a man be considered as weird and untrustworthy.
(Only Sheriff Taylor could get away with that crap, but at least he was a widower.)

Yep. As a child, I asked my mother why Opie never turned to his Dad and asked, “Dad, tell me about Mom.”
Boy don’t need no momma, I guess. Or that was the message I got.

Well the only way the rats can win an election is through fraud, but you all know that, or should.

Wyden lives in NY? I can understand DC or even Maryland or Virginia right outside DC but not NY.

The whole issue was addressed obliquely with the episode about the baby birds Opie orphaned.

The NYC place was probably his wife's. Wyden sold off his Oregon condo, but if he's smart, he's probably found another in-state residence.
Ed Markey used to count his mom's couch as his Massachusetts residence, or so it's said. He also continued to count an MA house as his residence after he sold it.
Robert Kennedy didn't have any trouble renting a house (I'd always heard it was only a post office box) in New York to get around residency requirements in 1964, and James Buckley likewise managed to get some official residence in time for the 1970 election.
So Ossoff better get cracking, I guess.

Having read Atlas Shrugged a few times, he reminds me of Kip Chalmers: the loser would-be professional politician who takes a train across the country to run for senator from California. Never mind that he's never BEEN there to begin with.
If you've read the book, you know already that things don't end well for Chalmers and his entourage.

Picture from a major story in this week's Time magazine (print edition). It's John Ossoff at what looks to a highly popular Jeb! sleep clinic.
- Two flag holders and one of them using it to cover his face. Psst. The flag is a lefty's way to endear Republican voters.
- Three geeks including a woman with glasses thick enough to attract all the Coca Cola bottlers in the Atlanta area.
- Unemployed millenials: no gray hairs, blue collars, white colllars, or Deplorables allowed.
- And a partially obscured but handsome woman on the right. She's there to snsure the $8,000,000 is wisely spent on attracting real voters.
Hats off to Ossoff! This rally has all the authenticity and excitement of a STRONGER TOGETHER event.

Is that Pajama Boy? He's definitely got the look of Pajama Boy.
To: SamAdams76
Well, he said today that he wants to be near his girlfriend of 12 years. Yes, I think it's a safe bet Ossoff has a pair of pajamas. What was Nancy Pelosi thinking?! Oh, I forgot... she doesn't think.
To: poconopundit
The only thing the U.S. flag us useful for to a Democrat, an election or re-election prop.
Hope I’m not mistaking this guy. I believe he is the Democrat who tries to pass himself off as a more Conservative person, who lives with his girlfriend just ten minutes drive away from his own district.
He says he’s doing it to be supportive of her. What? She can’t support him?
Nincompoop!
