Attorney General Jeff Sessions has brought sweeping change to the Department of Justice.

In just two months as the nation’s top cop, Sessions has moved quickly to overhaul the policies and priorities set by the Obama administration.

He has...

Did you read the whole article?

Really only people against his proposals are quoted.

Pretty close to a hit piece.

There have been hundreds of raids leading to thousands of arrests for Pedophilia and Pederasty since Sessions took over, does anyone have any idea how many of those arrests will lead to Federal charges?

Shouldn’t be a surprise, The Hill is a center left pub.

In March, Sessions asked the remaining U.S. attorneys appointed by former President Obama to resign. While previous administrations took the same step, Whiting questioned whether Sessions would be able find 94 prosecutors who will back the DOJ’s new approach.

It's a good gamble for aspiring young attorneys who would come in and toe the line. I'm sure they'll fill the positions quickly. It will be largely patronage recommendations from Governors, Senators, Congressmen.

DOJ has been saturated with Obama style socialist attorneys and they are in career positions.

Yeah it started out ok but quickly disintegrated into a hit job.

Did you know crime is down but not because people are put in prison?

They didn’t give the REAL reason, but it’s not the inability of dangerous men to assault innocent folks on the streets because they’re behind steel doors.

Why is Comey still in his job?

Why is the Clinton investigation on nation; security violations and foundation crimes not moving forward.?

Why is Bill Clinton not under investigation for Haiti?

The *real* reason crime is down is plea bargaining. Just knock felonies down to misdemeanors. Everyone is happy. The perp gets to stay out of prison. The judge doesn’t have to preside over a trial (which is actually his job). The DA counts it as a successful *prosecution*.

Ok, the victims don’t like it, but the thoroughly dysfunctional system is not set up to accommodate them.

The CF is under investigation as a RICO case in the Southern District of Manhattan. Preet Bahara had the case until he got fired. Now his first assistant has it. Expect a lengthy investigation with the kind of money involved—billions and the convoluted international relationships.

This is one you want handled with the utmost care. RICO is a good fit. There is a lot of potential prison time involved as well as heavy financial penalties.

If I had limited resources and had to choose, I’d go after the Clintons on the Foundation before I’d take up the emails.

One of the best things he could do is eliminate the so-called “Civil-Rights” Division, and replace it with a Constitutional Rights Division.

Just sayin’.

Yes, apparently mass incarceration of criminals doesn’t reduce crime. Yet the *expert* quoted didn’t offer up an alternative. My guess is art therapy.

“Obama moved away from that approach, and I think in the criminal justice world there seemed to be a consensus between the right and left that those policies, those rigid policies of the war on drugs and trying to get the highest sentence all the time, had failed,” he said.

“I don’t know if he is really going to be able to persuade the department to follow his lead on this.”

I do, they are his employees, and if they choose not to follow his leadership, there is a door to walk out!

“Pretty close to a hit piece.”

You are being “charitable” using the words “pretty close!” The Hill should be described by it’s “complete name: The Hill of Crap”

All the “elites” he knows live in gated communities and are surrounded by security guards for protection. He doesn't know anyone who is a victim of crime. The only illegal aliens in his life raise is children - perhaps?

While none of us know the answers to the above, most of us don’t know for sure if the second and third are not happening. I would bet they are, as multiple local divisions are involved. Complicated cases of financial fraud can take years for the Feds. Maybe a forensic accountant could comment.

Trump and, I suppose Sessions, are not the types to broadcast their intentions. They are more likely to announce results.

As for Comey, the best answer I’ve heard so far is Comey and (unfortunately) McCabe, posses the work product in the Clinton mess. As that grinds forward and their appointments get closer to the end of the natural span, I’d not be surprised at changes.

Sessions is dealing with sanctuary cities, the border (including new judges, hearing facilities and agents, vetting procedures here and overseas and immigration/asylum/refugees). Drugs and gangs, which tie in with the above. Maybe vetting lower court judges, too? Cleaning out the Department? We have arrests of someone for a Fast & Furious murder and the arrest of a someone else for selling national secrets. Probably more, but, as said, it isn’t all neatly telegraphed and we cannot count on truthful reporting from the media.

I guess “The wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind exceedingly small.”
