It’s the same pattern as has been practiced in the past. The chatter of these coffee-meets breaks out, and it seems shocking! But then, as this idea continues to get exposure, it gets less shocking and more acceptable until it is enthusiastically endorsed.
Hitler and Stalin didn’t come out of the blue either with their genocides. They used this same process until they were able to act on it.
I’m not saying that we need to worry about it in the next six months, though we really should be concerned about it right now, but it may become a reality 20-30 years down the road. Your children and grandchildren are going to be dealing with this.
