Reports that SEAL Team Six is training in South Korea are false, a senior defense official told Fox News on Tuesday.
SEAL Team Six is a direct action and hostage rescue team, part of the national mission force, not the type of unit that would participate in a training exercise in South Korea, a separate U.S. defense official said.
There are U.S. special operations teams -- including SEALs -- who always conduct training in the region with their South Korean counterparts, according to officials. They say the U.S. forces will continue to do so in the annual Foal Eagle exercise, currently running until the end of April. But SEAL Team Six is not part of this training.
Local U.S. special ops units will participate in the annual training with South Korea, amid recent North Korean provocations, including the communist regime launching four ballistic missiles earlier this month landing 190 miles from Japan.
South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported on Monday that various teams of U.S. forces would participate.

Why would anyone discuss this in public and/or write about US Military activity? Doesn’t make any sense. Seems like Obama land again. Why the Pentagon would respond is beyond me.
I wish the media would quit reporting inflammatory things about our military. Of course Trump may have created a back channel lead to float this idea for Kim’s consumption.
Otherwise, these situations are too combustible for people to be making things up and reporting them.
Sending a SEAL team into the middle of North Korea to assassinate Kim Jong Un is a suicide mission, and I would hope we value our special forces assets more than that.

Sounds like an elite assassin team, just like in the movies, expect Democrats calling for investigations.
They like Kim, he’s communist.
So that Kim will think that it is really going to happen because why would the Pentagon respond if it weren’t real.
Kim is probably thrashing about. After all, that is how he takes care of competitors to the throne — by assassination.

I’d never underestimate the SEALs, but the concept itself seems undo-able. I do like the idea of His Tubbiness getting uber-paranoid about his security to the point of going into hiding.
It’s worse than that. They’re talking about unleashing Brian Williams.
‘Course they’re not. They’re simply there to “re-accomodate” customers of China.
