Ben, I still don’t forgive you for voting for Hillary. You’re a lunatic. Don a sackcloth and go wander the desert for 40 years.

But something has to be done
That's a troubling assumption.
True, no one knows the resolution to the ME quagmire. However, history teaches us that
certain actions will certainly SINK us deeper into a quagmire.
Trump garnered our support in part based upon expressing a careful distancing from the
adventuresome aggressive US behavior of the past.
So far, with the information available, I do not think he is holding to his words on this. I
am not saying he is duplicitous, as I think he is an honest man. But I do think he has been
persuaded by individuals who do not align with his initial skepticism of ME involvement.
Who can be naive enough to think our involvement in any capacity in the ME
is based upon altruism, rather than geopolitical gain?

Its one thing to have adult children involved in a family business, but quite another to have them playing at being co-presidents
Certainly true, IF this is the case. But in no event should Eric make such a blunder as to say this. It just opens a door to attack needlessly. He should have said: "Yes, Ivanka is a concerned mother, but Dad acts on behalf of what he believes is in the best interest of all Americans..."

If you paid attention to the debates, when he was asked, Trump always refused to say that the would not send in troops. I would suppose that he prefers to have the Russians and allies aid in isolating the warmongers and implement safe zones, etc. I can’t see him ordering an invasion in Syria like Bush did in Iraq.
The biggest problem by far is Iran. Iran has to be isolated and neutralized. Our problems in the Mid East are just beginning. Obama’s chickens are coming home to roost.

It's a gentlemens agreement that doesn't count for anything. So, no, Germany will never use chemical weapons on the US. But it doesn't stop the psychos of the world from using them.Actually it does matter. Think war crimes, Nuremburg trials. Hanging.
The "psychos of the world" might include non-state actors that are elusive, but state actors like Assad's Syria have a lot to worry about.

HL27,
Don't you worry. The lion and his pride will protect us... And they'll do so without taking themselves too seriously :-)

Glad you liked that graphic. When I pulled that one together, I wasn’t sure how well it would work. Glad to hear you liked it...

It a great example of what the Left does, especially pertaining to global warming.
