Very good points. I sense also that the President surrounds himself with all viewpoints which is a GOOD thing.
But still, Tillerson needs to get to the weekend news shows and make the case.

Someone mentioned this to me, and I was surprised to learn that I couldn't find a damn thing anywhere online. There are plenty of clips of Melania, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric to be found -- but none of Jared Kushner. This was even more curious because there are also many cases where he is quoted in print and online media outlets ... but I could find no audio or video clips at all.
I finally came across a video clip of a speech he made to a New York real estate group some time ago, and I could see why they've kept him away from the microphones. He speaks well, but he sounds like he's about 14 years old. This guy isn't going to impress anyone in international diplomatic circles.

Your assumption that anything was known “100%” is not realistic. That would make a fine speech, and yes, would likely have avoided some of the upset among Trump supporters. However, looking just a short distance down the road, do you see any problems arising had he made such claims? I do. I also believe that much if not most of the squawking and hysteria is coming from people who never have been Trump supporters, jumping on with both feet at the first sign of any difficulty as they have. Now is the time to withhold judgment until more facts are in, not tear him apart. Look at what he’s done in a scant two and a half months. People are such hair-on-fire idiots at times. Can Trump do wrong? Sure. There may even be something wrong with what he just did. But, I understand why he did it and my support is not shaken, not now, not yet, not by a long shot. I’m going to give him his first term before I pronounce anything, myself.

Maybe so but irrelevant because the information content needs to be fleshed out.
Believe it or not, liberals sometimes layout information that is accurate such as here, where I posted the tasks that Kushner has been charged with.
I don’t care who wrote the task list for Kushner. It’s not about who copied it in what journal, it’s about the content.
So ignore Robinson and pay attention to the task listing and even more importantly read and absorb the comments of some of the fine Freepers that are digging up info and background on Kushner.
I am not saying Jared is a bad person, I am saying we need to get to know him and he needs to bond with us.
It can be edited. But the main point is he needs to address the intel product and his confidence in it.

And the larger point is that Tillerson needs to make the case, just like Kushner, we need to get know both of these figures and grow to trust them or in lieu of having trust in them, trust that our President has got them under control.
But the President ordered the Tomahawk attack. Fine, but the basis of the decision needs to be defended by Tillerson adroitly with great articulation. That hasn’t been seen yet.
It just happened last night and it’s just past lunchtime on the east coast.
