Agree completely. I thought the "opening of China" was a mistake when it happened and have never changed my mind. They should have been left as they were until they left communism behind and became a freer, more democratic society.

Maybe this is showing the utter desperation of the Democratic party as it fragments to it's various segments of hate.
Maybe most of all this is telling of how much they fear the fallout of the Obama Administration spying on Trump? Also how Schumer himself might end up being involved in this.

It’s bizzare! We GAVE them technology (thanks to cash trading hands with BJC), we allowed their cheap cheap labor to undercut American made products, and then when our country suffered the obvious effects of this we went to them to borrow money - the money we basically gave them.

Intelligence often has no bearing on whether or not someone acts like a fool. It’s a question of judgment and whether one can control their ego and baser instincts. I see little evidence that Schumer is a skilled player, especially if he stupidly carries their filibuster through and forces the Republicans to change the senate rule.
If he’s allowing others in the party to cause him to act so stupidly on several occasions, then he’s not much of a leader.
Because his is such a fractured party of takers and haters.
They expected to carry on with the gravy train and instead found the whole thing will be somewhat demolished.
