News that a high school student wrote nothing but #BlackLivesMatter on his personal statement in an application to California's Stanford University - and got in - has been raising some eyebrows.
Ziad Ahmed, a high school student in New Jersey, proudly tweeted his news and received a range of reactions in response. There were congratulations aplenty of course - "forever in love with your audacity", laughed one user.
In a profile of Mr Ahmed, notes that he worked for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and had also been invited to the White House under Barack Obama's administration.

Another university becomes a joke. Save your money and learn with online videos and books, especially if you’re in tech. That’s how you learn new technology anyway.

My daughter was turned down for Stanford last week and she had a perfect ACT score of 36. Going to attend Duke University now.
All the top schools are so liberal. The difference is just how bad it is. This article shows Stanford is pretty bad.
If you’re White write “white Privilege” 200 times and you’ll be accepted.

Many other blacks and hispanics admitted to top universities to fill quotas probably couldn't even muster this much for their admissions essay.

He got in on his name, just as Obama did when he enrolled at Columbia. Employers should be very careful when examining credentials from these PC universities.
With a degree in Social Justice Studies or African American studies, janitor might be reaching too high. Then again, at least a small fraction of these Social Justice Warriors do manage to crawl their way into relatively high paid jobs in PR or politics, where flinging BS is the only required skill.
Going to Duke is proof you have too much money. Liberal and in a crime ridden town.
