Hey, there! Funny you should ask! I just had to take the flannels off that I wore last night...comfortably...and put on summer jammies! It’s 70 warm degrees here! Sheeesh!

Did you guys ever get any rain?

Well darn. I’d hoped the cooler weather would stick around a little longer.

Yes, we finally got a nice, long soaking rain. Ended up with 1.1 inch in the gauge! Thought we’d get a little more with Round Two but that pooped out before it got here.
At least we got through the whole thing with no storms. That stuff stayed well south of us. WHEW!

That’s great that you got that much rain! That would go a long way around here! LOL!

I heard about the bad storms in LA and other places and am relieved to hear that you didn’t have any of that stuff! It’s time for mother nature to tune her temper back! LOL!

I just got her fed and watching TV in the living room. She was up and walking further than if I was home.

She heard the vacuum in the living room and went to see who was in her house.

I give up. Until I can get the evaluation and get her to the doctor and then someone to come in and maybe some meds for the hallucinations, I will just set things up so she can get to the wheel chair easier than she did today. If she falls, she falls. That’s all I can do. She doesn’t hear anything I say.

We were thrilled to get it. We’re still a little behind where we should be and will take all we can get. Being a soaking rain was a plus, for sure.

Yeah, there were tornados and flooding farther south today. They showed a video clip of Birmingham, AL on the Nashville news this evening and they had a LOT of flooding this morning.

I think all of us will be glad when this stuff slows down! It’s been a rough three months or so. A cold front comes through Wed. and they’re calling for dicey weather then. *sigh*

Well, as my hubby says, the cold weather is NEVER over till after Easter. And you know...he’s nearly always right on this one!

Whew! Glad she didn’t fall today but she took chances moving around so much.

Did you manage to find time to call for any appointments today or were things too hectic at work?

Yep, there are several “winters” in April and this week will be “dogwood winter”. Highs in the mid-50s and lows in the mid-30s. BRRRRR! We usually don’t turn the pilot light off in the gas heater until the end of April, just in case. We’ve had a couple of snowfalls in April over the years so you never know.

YES! Amazing, isn’t it? LOL!
Now to see how wild things get Wed. afternoon. I’m considering doing the grocery shopping tomorrow rather than wait til Wed. Don’t want to do it in stormy weather and they say it could get rough.

Is the station wagon at least in the shop getting fixed?

I guess it isn’t going to the shop after all. Hubby ordered a new wheel for it today and I guess he’s going to do the work himself. Who knows with him? LOL!
I know he’s still waiting for the new lug nuts that were ordered. He made a point of going for American-made nuts this time.

Someone else had the same thing happen to their truck last week. When I left the nursing home, a truck was sitting on the side of the road and a guy was retrieving the back wheel that had fallen off. It was in the grass on the other side of the road. Must have had the same crummy Chinese lug nuts the station wagon had.
