Well hallelujah! Y’all finally got to save the world! LOL! Took long enough.
Just a day of housework here. It was warm but wet today. We needed the rain and were glad to get some WITHOUT any storms for a change.
Good evening, radu...((HUGS))...it’s trying to rain here. Some roads are dry and others are gutter to gutter sloppy wet. But we are supposed to have 2 my nights of non-freezing.
How about your storms? No tornadoes I hope.
First check will be 4/14....more testing going on this week, but Ruthe is working directly with the boss.
Praying that all the bugs get worked out this week.
Welcome to the Canteen, Politically Correct, and thanks for sharing some memories. And we thank you for your service to our country. Navy? Marines?
Any field planting yet?
Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))
Is this a Maddi week?
Bump!
On my way home.....Mom told my sister that she went out to the living room to turn off the vacuum. She is NOT supposed to leave around her bed until I get home. It’s time for help.
Keeping all appendages crossed the temps stay above freezing! Don’t need the roads glazing with ice overnight!
No storms here today. Just a long soaking rain. YAY!
They say to expect stormy weather Wed. afternoon and evening so I’m considering doing the grocery shopping tomorrow. Still don’t have the station wagon back on the road and I don’t want wet bags on the back seat of the other car.
Last Night, we went to Olive Garden...
Well, at least you have a little breathing room left. Hope they can get everything straightened out in time.
Thanks Kathy! Last week when I was in North Carolina I visited my Dad’s grave site (he was a WWII Navy veteran). Looked toward heaven and told him how proud I’ve always been of him, and all who serve or served.
I was there in that time frame myself. However it was a short stay as our F4 squadron VF-96 was there only for training.
For now, our fields are full of winter wheat and has that stuff jumped the past couple of weeks with the rain we've had. It's almost waist-high now. This how things looked this afternoon when the sun broke through the clouds.
Oh MAN!! I hope all’s well when you get home!
Yes, it does sound like it’s time for help. :-(
And how about the kittehs?
Yes, the wheat will be plowed under. Not much money in wheat nowadays so it isn’t worth harvesting. But it makes good fertilizer.
And it doesn’t stink like chicken poop! LOL! I hate it when he spreads the poop, and we get a reprieve this year. WHEW!!
Kittehs are fine. Nice and quiet now after an afternoon of being brats. They’re pros at getting in the way when I’m trying to do housework. Makes it take twice as long because of the time spent shooing them off.
Howdy, LUV!
Still enjoying cooler temps or has the thermostat been cranked back up?
Howdy, ML! (((hugs)))
Is it warming up yet?
