As women all over the world celebrated Womens History Month this March, little attention focused on the number of women who form the backbone of President Trumps National Security Council.
His two deputy national security advisers K.T. McFarland (pictured above) and Dina Powell, and the person in charge of writing the national security strategy Nadia Schadlow are women.
Its likely the first time that women have held those positions simultaneously no insignificant fact in a field thats still male-dominated.
Together, McFarland, Powell and Schadlow bring different strengths to the table.

But just the other day, Hillary was out there, bitching how Trump has record low numbers of women in high positions. What the heck????
I think when she was walkin’ in the woods communing with gaia a branch musta bonked her on the head. Oh, wait. That might have fixed her. Oh well.
Those aren’t women. Those are “republican men with a vagina.” Democrats are not only able to self-identify as any gender, they can also determine and alternate-identity for others. Same with race. So there are no republican women or republican blacks.
Ahhhh, but only Democrat/Feminist women are valid women. Conservative women are to be disdained. He will get no credit from the Dems and their Media for the numbers of women anywhere in his Admin.
Is this part of his "War on Women"? /sarc
You bring up an interesting point. In a so-called “gender neutral” liberal society, why are we keeping score on how many wymyn are in positions of power vs. myn? We are all the same right? All 12 sexes.
Calling Chuck Todd, Scott Pelley, David Muir, Rachel Maddow, et.al.
Women are the biggest liars evuh! So, seems appropriate to me..
As of three hours ago, McFarland is on her way to Singapore.

National Security Advisors? So between the three of them they have how much military service?
Security may be more focused on the academic and analytical than actual war and field strategy as in the Department of Defense. I don’t know, but your point is well taken.
Traditionally the Republicans have philosophically held to merit over “gender” (I hate that word, but also hated the word “sex” for distinguishing males and females).
Now with Ivanka, and most recently even Melania, we see them boosting the women in the same ridiculous fashion as Hillary always has. It irritates a lot of us.
Honestly, our culture has increasingly hit the skids as women have ascended, to run the schools and the churches and and gained success in the tech world and in large institutions. Wonder if there is a correlation?
Mostly I believe God is out, and Eve is fiddling in the Garden. Again.
"Gender" is a linguistic term, for masculine or feminine referencing words.
"Sex" is a biological term.
