Putin slams US election meddling claims as 'lies'

Moscow (CNN)Russian President Vladimir Putin has described allegations that his country meddled in the 2016 US election as "fictional, illusory, provocations and lies." Asked directly on Thursday whether Russia interfered in the election, Putin said: "Read my lips: No."

Putin's comments are the President's most emphatic denial of the accusations yet, and are the first he has directly made since Trump took office in January.

Russian officials and spokespeople for Putin, however, have brushed off the claims several times as a political "witch hunt." The denial comes as intelligence committees from both the House and Senate in the US investigate the alleged interference in the US election, including possible ties between Russian officials and members of US President Donald Trump's campaign team.

Even the Rooskis know that this is all about the fascist left being out to get President Trump.

We are still awaiting the hard evidence that would justify the investigations and recusals sought by McCain, Graham, and their Democrat fellow travelers. And hard evidence does not include the Obama intelligence community’s speculation issued after the election.

Indeed there is a vast, left wing conspiracy to blame Russia for meddling in the Trump election. It is amazing how far the leftist media, Democrats, and two has-been Republicans (McCain and some other guy) have carried this false narrative.

I guess that you can fool some of the people all of the time.

Just what do these foolish and corrupt politicians expect to accomplish?

Nobody is asking why he would do this at all. Putin gained most of his power and increased the standing of Russia in the world due to the weakness of Obama. Hillary would have continued Obama’s policies. Why would he want a stronger President like Trump in office????

“Asked directly on Thursday whether Russia interfered in the election, Putin said: “Read my lips: No.”

That’s only half a lie. They were, and have been, bugging everyone for many years. Did he hate Clinton, yes. Is he real pleased with Trump, no. About the only one he would be pleased with is Sanders as his ideology is similar to Russian socialism. But you can be sure he bugged him, too.

Well, that settles it. Why would Putin lie?

Oh, he’s very pleased with Trump. He owns Trump lock stock and barrel, outright, fully paid for and no wriggling off the hook.

“He owns Trump lock stock and barrel”

Not sure on that one. Trump is, probably, one of the loosest cannons ever in the White House. That’s what makes him so appealing to the voters and so scary to the politicians, foreign or domestic.
